Penny Hydraulics offers an industry leading repair and maintenance service for hydraulic garage and mining equipment such as lifting equipment (including good lifts), vehicle mounted cranes and winching systems as well as hydraulic loading platforms in 22 countries around the world. We are the UK’s leading manufacturer of lorry loaders, cranes, goods lifts and lighting winches.

Penny Hydraulics are a market leading supplier of a range of lifting equipment, such as cranes, which can be fitted to a comprehensive range of vans and trucks, from small car-adapted pick-ups to larger commercial flatbed vans. Our lifting equipment includes a range of goods lift solutions such as ultra lightweight electric cranes. Our cranes are suitable for diverse applications, from van and pick-up installations they can be used for utilities companies access, general deliveries and highways maintenance services. Even our lightest cranes incorporate full hydraulic controls which ensure a smoother and more precise load handling process. This reduces the risk of unexpected movements when in use.

Vehicle mounted cranes

We manufacture and repair high quality hydraulic cranes and loading platforms. Our lifting equipment is designed and developed to meet stringent quality and safety standards. Lifting equipment, such as our cranes, start with lifting capacities as low as 100kg. We can design and manufacture bespoke boom lengths, and can adapt our designs to suit small car-derived vans. Our lightweight cranes can be fitted to commercial vehicles, such as pick-up trucks, and provide users with lifting capacities between 0.5 - 5 tm. Our lifting equipment can be supplied with a range of optional accessories such as stabiliser legs, radio remote controls and speed hoists.

Goods lift

We have a comprehensive range of goods lifts which are designed to offer users a goods-only lift system which is fast, reliable and, as importantly, cost effective solution to moving and lifting heavy objects between floors. Our range of hydraulic goods lifts includes; mezzanine floor goods lifts, cellar lifts, loading bay lifts and lightwell lifts. Our goods-only lift solutions are designed to offer users simple and quick solutions. We can supply goods lifts across a range of capacities, tailoring the product to meet your specific requirements. They are ideal for moving everything from large and bulky items to furniture, palletised goods and warehouse stocks as well as other general goods.

Lighting winch systems

Lighting winch systems can be used as a cost-effective way to move goods without the need to have specialised staff or the leasing/ purchase of heavy machinery, such as lifting platforms and other associated costs, such as transport, insurance and the purchasing of costly & bulky tools. Our range of lighting winch systems include; chandelier winch systems, high mast lighting, high bay lighting installation equipment and supply only winches. We work with customers to find the right lighting winch system to meet their needs in a cost-effective, reliable and safe way. All our lighting winch systems have built-in safety features to ensure a smooth operation.

Hydraulic loading platforms

At Penny Hydraulics, we have a diverse range of hydraulic loading platforms which can be used for vans, pick-up trucks and other vehicles. We can fit hydraulic loading platforms to a range of vehicles across your entire fleet, whether large or small. We are able to fit lifting platforms to commercial vehicles and trucks ranging between 3.5 tonnes and 12tonnes. Our hydraulic lift customers include the Royal Mail, Siemens and other large commercial clients. Our hydraulic loading platforms are split into two types, rear mounted lifts, attached to the rear of your vehicle and side mounted lifts. Side mounted lifts include tipper lifts, load lifts and oil drum type side door lifts.
