Hydulignum and Jabroc are non-impregnated, densified wood laminates developed especially for a wide range of industrial applications. Selected beech veneers are kiln dried to a given moisture content, cut and assembled into packs with a film of synthetic resin coating the individual veneers.

The packs are then subjected to extreme pressure and temperature, causing them to be bonded to form laminated boards. By varying the laminating pressure and veneer grain direction in the pack assembly it is possible to produce material having various densities and strengths.

Jabroc ® offers high stability, increased strength, stiffness and improved life when replacing hardwood, and on the other hand, reduced weight, shorter machining times, is non-sparking and non-conductive when replacing metals. Jabroc has half the strength of steel at only one fifth of the weight.

Jabroc 'N' is a special grade densified wood laminate with 6% hydrogen content ideally suited for Neutron Shielding. It is completely uniform, has high mechanical strength, is resistance to impact forces and can be readily machined to engineering tolerances. Its relative lightweight and cleanliness in handling are additional important features in the standard design of neutron shielding equipment

Permali densified wood laminate is made of beech veneers densified under pressure and heat to same qualities as natural timber in regards of strength, resilience, stability and moisture resistance. Permali densified wood laminate can be, at your request, manufactured to suit the desired mechanical strength in any direction you want.

Permawood densified wood laminate is a laminate that is non-impregnated. It is constructed of beech veneers coated with a resin and formed under pressure and heat. It has a very good mechanical strength both directionally and in stability, dielectric properties. There is a high strength to weight ratio as well.

Permawood densified wood laminate is used for transformer insulation and can be applied to many applications.
