Airclean extended surface media rigid filters are designed for use in most commercial or industrial HVAC systems where medium to high efficiency filtration is required. Our filters are available in micro-fine synthetic media with average efficiency ranges of 50-55%, 60-65%, 80-85% and 90-95% per ASHRAE Standard 52.1 test methods.
Airclean filters may be installed in Type 9 Holding Frames, K-Track Filter Framing Modules, and Sureseal Side Access Housings or in similar existing hardware. Type 9 Holding Frames are riveted together to form a bank and may be installed for upstream or downstream service. K- Track Filter Framing Modules are especially suitable for medium to large built-up filter banks

Activated carbon is the agent used to remove odours, toxic fumes and gases from the air. It is available in a variety of forms, from simple carbon impregnated polyester filters to solid carbon `biscuit'. Typical applications range from the removal of unpleasant odours up to dangerous fumes and gases e.g. kitchen extract, chemical process, museums, airports, soldering fumes ... to name just a few.
A greater volume of carbon for more demanding applications such as the removal of toxic fumes and gases, commercial kitchen extract systems is available in standard and heavy-duty grades.

Designed primarily for fan coil induction units, this slim design has three basic types and can be used for a wide variety of general applications.
- Fixed Wire Frame - Strong steel wire covered with media fixed by stitching
- Replacement Sleeve - The same steel wire frame with a replaceable polyester filter 'sleeve'. Replacement sleeves can be made to suit existing frames
- Pad and Frame - Galvanized steel holding frame approximately 10mm deep into which a removable pad is fixed in place by a steel wire 'W' clip, with a wide range of medias to suit - such as polyester and reticulated foam
All Phoenix glassfibre panel filters are designed for use in general air conditioning, central heating and ventilation systems where labour and replacement costs are of paramount importance. They can also be used as pre-filters to protect and prolong lifetime of more efficient and sophisticated filtration systems.
The units have relatively high efficiencies and dust holding capacities and are replaced upon reaching a pre-determined air resistance. Phoenix Glassfibre panels are constructed with a robust unitary card frame and lattice encapsulating media pads of graduated, bonded coated glass fibre.
Our Hepa filters remove a broad range of airborne contaminants including fine dust, smoke, soot, pollen and radioactive particles. HEPA filters are used in final filter applications including hospitals, electronics, nuclear, pharmaceuticals, laboratories, aerospace, food processing and optics.
Our Aerocell range of Hepas is based on the industry standard of submicronic glass paper, pleated over aluminium or Kraft spacers. This basic concept retains a number of advantages over alternative designs in terms of initial and running costs, strength and dust holding capacity.
- For temperatures up to 120°C wood cased or aluminium cased filters can be used. For temperatures above 120°C use galvanised steel casings (up to 250°C)
- For temperatures above 250°C use Stainless steel casings and silicone seal (up to 400°C)
- 6mm Neoprene gasket is fitted on the clean air (downstream) side unless otherwise requested
Phoenix Synthetic media are manufactured using the latest non-woven fibre technology to produce engineered fibrous materials. The base fibres are thermally bonded in graduated densities, thus producing resilient and durable materials that provide low resistance, whilst achieving excellent performance and high dust holding capacities.
Phoenix glassfibre media is manufactured from continuous monofilament glassfibre bonded with a thermosetting resin. The pattern of the fibres is designed to give low resistance to airflow but still offer maximum dust holding capacity.
Our mesh grease filters are suitable for application in extraction canopies in commercial catering and food preparation establishments. The construction features include:

While having all the beneficial properties of the pleated panel filter, the MCP range provides a solution to problems of stability where moisture prevents the use of a card framed panel filter, and the rate of airflow prevents the use of a pad frame with glass fibre or synthetic pad.
Constructed of heavy-duty galvanized steel case, the outer frame gives maximum rigidity as well as greater fire-resistant. Our metal cased pleated panels are available in a wide range of standard sizes.
Our Microfine bag filters are produced from a specially thermally bonded, non-toxic, non-combustible fine synthetic fibre. This advanced fibre bonding technology and pocket design provide the filter with a relatively low pressure drop and a high dust holding capacity. These bag filters are ideal for sensitive indoor climates and are often used in hospitals, where non-glass filters are preferred.
This disposable filter has a double layer of heavy-duty pleated paper with staggered perforations, providing efficiency and durability.
The design ensures that the paint-laden air has to change directions several times, forcing the particles to adhere to the paper surface before exhausting into the atmosphere.
The large perforations and pleated form allow high airflow without loss of efficiency as the filter becomes loaded with paint.
Variflow are a series of robust medium and high efficiency rigid cell side disposable filters for removal of atmospheric dust suitable for all HVAC applications ranging from industrial, commercial and gas turbines.
