Formed Three years ago Printed Systems is a high Quality CEM with the capability to produce both conventional and surface mount PCB assemblies. The SMD area has been built around the very successful Philips Topaz range of component placement machines and these together with DEK screen printers and ERSA ovens provide a capability of approaching 6.5million placements per month on a two-shift basis. The machines can place a wide range of components from 0201 passives through fine line QFPs up to standard and micro BGAs.

Although PSL sees its' surface mount facility as a particular centre of excellence the company prides itself on providing a turn-key solution to all its' customers. To meet particular customer requirements PSL can provide design for manufacturing resources through component procurement, surface mount assembly and conventional through hole production together with test and dispatch to point of sale if required. However we are well aware that some customers may want to keep certain stages of the manufacturing process in house, so the company can provide any sub-set of the overall process that potential customers may require.

PSL forms long-term partnerships with new customers, taking products through the initial concept, prototyping and pre-production stages to full line manufacturing. Again some customers may only require prototyping or pre-production and PSL is always ready to help in these areas.

The company is ISO9002 approved and is already supplying many customers in a wide range of market sectors from security, medical and military to consumer products and telecommunications.
