    PRV Engineering offer an abrasive waterjet cutting service. Our 5 Axis machinery has the capacity to cut virtually any material up to a capacity of 3000mm x 1700mm x 350mm. Waterjet cutting provides many advantages over alternative cutting methods such as laser, these include cold- cutting, resulting in no heat affected zone (HAZ) and material hardening, Omni-directional cutting, which is the ability to cut in any direction, operates with a small cutting width (kerf), resulting in excellent material utilisation, Provides a high quality cut finish providing net-shape or near net-shape parts illiminating the requirement of secondary processing on many application. Waterjet cutting is particularly 'friendly' to the environment. The process is clean and does not create grindings, chips or hazardous gases and cutting oils are not required.
