Pyramid Laboratories Ltd

Pyramid Laboratories Ltd. is an electroplating company which in addition to providing electroplating services also offers plating consultancy services, plating process research and development services, electroless plating, polishing, passivation and various other metal finishing services. We also offer plating onto plastics services. It was founded as a family business in Corby in 1994. We are now both the largest and oldest plating company in Corby. Due to an increasing level of business we relocated into our current larger premises in 2002.

The senior technical staff have over 100 years combined experience in the plating industry and in working to numerous different quality standards. Most of our senior staff started their careers as platers on the shop floor and have worked their way up through middle management. We are members of the British Standards Institute.

Our main area of expertise is in the technical plating of precision components. We are also adept at plating on plastics including non-plating grade polymers. Furthermore, we can offer a consultancy service to companies with their own in-house plating facilities.

In recent years the company's main focus has been on consultancy work and research and development projects. We have now been hired and retained as plating consultants in over 30 projects. Our clients in this area have included large multinational companies such as BP Chemicals PLC, Bayer PLC, small and medium-sized enterprises and micro businesses.
