A range of Quick Air Drying Anti-corrosive primers suitable for use as a protective coating when applied onto steel substrates. Available in a narrow range of colours as standard, but bespoke colour matching is available if economically viable.

Paints give a cost effective finish which rapidly dries to provide a tough durable coating. Available in a range of sheen’s from matt to full gloss. They can be colour matched to RAL, BS4800, BS381C as well as other customer specific shades. QAD paints are recommended for the protection and decoration of steel fabrications.

Combining high solids properties with active anti corrosive pigments this range of coatings gives a cost effective alternative to using primer and topcoat as two separate applications. This can save you time and money in labour and paint costs whilst providing the final decorative finish you require.

An excellent twin pack epoxy intermediate coat used to enhance corrosion protection in severe conditions. Provides excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance with very good adhesion properties to suitably prepared substrates. Available as a 2 component system in 5 litre packages.

2 Pack Epoxy primer systems provide paints with excellent corrosion performance for use where extra protection is required on steel structures.
A narrow range of primer colours is available along with a Micaceous Iron Oxide for enhanced durability. A selection of gloss finishes are manufactured to produce coatings where more durable finishes are requested in internal environments.
These are particularly recommended for use as floor paints where a harder wearing finished coat is needed.

Adhesion and protection are the most significant properties of a paint coating. Some substrates require special consideration when deciding on what primer to use, difficult surfaces like galvanized steel and aluminium may cause problems if not treated correctly.
Our etch primers and T-Wash solution prove an excellent base to promote the adhesion of subsequent coatings. For enhanced performance in harsh conditions our 2 pack epoxy primers provide excellent protection to steel fabrications. Combining epoxy resin with zinc phosphate anti-corrosive pigments, these coatings provide better corrosion performance than conventional primers. Our single pack zinc rich primer gives the excellent level of protection you would expect from a galvafroid-type paint containing over 90% zinc metal in the dry film.
