Scot Bennett Engineering is a family owned engineering business of 30 years, specialising in high precision, small to medium batch work, utilising the very latest machine tool technology.
Our product range covers a wide variety of fields and services, ranging from Automotive, Food, Medical, Nuclear and Aerospace customers.
To this end Scot Bennett has invested in machine tools that include Mori-Seiki, Haas and the highly reliable and precise swiss tool sliding headstock CNC lathes.

Earlier in the year, January 2010, we decided the time was right to invest in a new CNC milling machine, to further strengthen our ability to produce complex milled components, from a wide range of materials. We decided to invest in one of the latest Mori Seiki Milling machines and purchased a brand new Mori Seiki Vertical Machining Centre, DuraVertical5060. The increased speeds and feeds allow us to produce parts at a greater efficiency and accuracy that previously had not been possible. Batch quantities are monitored throughout the manufacturing process to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained. Where problems occur, they are quickly identified and segregated. Measuring equipment is calibrated to exacting standards thus enabling accurate component inspection.
Scot Bennett Engineering has established a wide and varied customer base by concentrating on providing quality products at the right price at the right time.
The quality benchmark BS EN ISO 9002 accreditation was achieved by the company in 1995. Since then we have continually revised and improved its quality procedures to reflect the exacting standards of today's market place. ISO 9001:2000 accreditation was achieved in July 2003.
From the purchase of raw materials from a selective and approved supplier base, to identification throughout the manufacturing process including finishing processes, to final inspection and customer approval, Scot Bennett Engineering will endeavour to meet the highest standards possible to meet customer requirements.

Are you BS EN ISO 9001 Registered? In 2003 we achieved the latest Quality Standard, BS EN ISO 9001:2000 as part of our ongoing commitment to improving our quality of service.
What is your batch quantity? Scot Bennett Engineering will manufacture in batch quantites from 50 off to 50,000 off. However, if a customer needs any special requirements i.e. pre-production samples, we will endeavour to meet their needs.
What steels do you manufacture? We will manufacture all commercial grades of the following:-

- Plastics, including acetal, nylon and PTFE
Can you supply finished components? From our extensive supplier base we can offer most types of finishes to components, including heat treatment, plating, anodising, stove enamelling and grinding to name but a few.
