HOTweezers  represent the state of the art in the design and construction of thermal wire strippers.

Hotweezers thermal wire strippers weigh less than 57g including cable and connector, making it an ideal hand-held solution with smooth and efficient operation. The heater filaments are completely sealed in the stripping head of a Hotweezers thermal wire stripper device enhancing its performance consistently.

Advantages of using HOTweezers:

1. The filament is resistant to oxidation.

2. The stripping head will not distort nor lose alignment as is the case with ordinary hot wire strippers.

3. Since the filaments are enclosed, a greater portion of the heat generated is retained to do useful work. Consequently the power supply can be much smaller than usual, and the current consumption is drastically reduced. The M-10 power supply consumes a mere 20 watts at the highest temperature setting.

4. Wire holes can be ground into the stripping head without damage to the filaments. With wire holes, the rotation of the stripper required to accomplish a strip is reduced from 180o to 15o and mashing of conductors, especially the finer gauges, is completely eliminated.

5. Because the filaments are an integral part of the stripper body, no maintenance is required.

Three different models of the HOTweezers are available to satisfy most stripping requirements. For precise insulation removal Models 4A and 4B have stripping holes to yield a clean, even strip free of insulation "tails" and to prevent mashing of the conductor strands. Model 4C is designed for use on cable jackets and larger diameter conductors. Maximum cable or conductor O.D. that can be stripped is 0.25 inch (6.35 mm) and maximum insulation wall thickness is .05 inch (1.27 mm). For stripping requirements that exceed these dimensions the HOTnife can be used. All models have the new strip length gauge so that repetitive stripping operations can be done accurately. The gauge is easy to adjust without a screwdriver or special tools. The standard power cord for all three models is a flexible, lightweight cable with a high temperature silicone rubber jacket that resists burns.

  1. Manual Test Stand

    Manual Test Stand
This is a manual Test Stand which can be used horizontally or vertically in conjunction with our range of Digital Push Pull Gauges. This is a very economical unit delivering a high level of accuracy and stability making it easy to place and use on the workbench. The SLK Stand has a maximum capacity of 500N with the SN series of Push Pull Gauges being recommended for this Stand, starting at a capacity of 10N going up to a maximum of load of 500N. A variety of tooling is also available for testing numerous materials including standard cables and crimps to springs and hard materials.
  2. Motorised Test Stand and Force Gauge

Motorised Test Stand and Force Gauge
This is an Electric Test Stand designed for our range of SH Digital Push or Pull Gauges plus appropriate tooling to suit a variety of materials including: Wires/cables/electric components, wood/glass, sponges, brushes, springs, light clamps and hard materials. The maximum load is 5000 Newtons making it suitable for many industrial applications including automotive, mechanical and scientific research. The SH Digital Force Gauge is designed to be used with this stand and is available in various capacities from 1KN up to 10KN. This range of force gauges all feature a high resolution display, high accuracy, average and peak reading display, peak hold, a choice of unit of measurement and an RS-232 port to print the collected data. A 10,000 Newton version of the Test Stand is also available for use with the larger Digital Force Gauge (SJV-10K).
  3. SMD Component Counter

    SMD Component Counter
The County S is a motorized counter for SMD component counting. This machine works in a simple way by counting the holes on the tape. All functions are easy to operate by the help of interactive messages on the display, while system status is monitored by means of LED's near the command keys. The memory function allows partial counting for the same component type and memory recall can show at any time the memory contents without loss of the actual counting data.
  4. Wire Measuring Meter

    Wire Measuring Meter
The Model 1420 Measuring Meter offers an easy and accurate method for measuirng off wire and cable. The Meter has a digital counter which adds or subtracts and resets to zero with one turn of the knob. This is easy to use on the bench within a dereeling system so you can accurately measure off the required length which can then be re-wound on to either a reel or in to a hank by using one of our other coiling units. This will measure wire and cable up to 24mm outer diameter and further options are available for wall mounting, measuring cord or a version with an imperial counter (Model 1410).
