Origins

For over a century the Shaw name has been associated with the manufacture of timber products in the Colne Valley, on the outskirts of Huddersfield. Shaw Timber, a wholly owned family business, is part of a group of companies founded in the early 1970's by brothers Michael and Stephen Shaw, although the family's involvement with wood goes back three generations

Shaw Timber supplies a wide range of timber based products to a customer base which encompasses bed and furniture manufacturers and providers of storage and materials handling equipment.
