Small Training Solutions
Small Training Solutions provide equipment training courses within the workplace across the UK. Our instructors are all registered with the relevant accredited associations, all instruction complies with the latest Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines and includes fork lift trucks, cranes and mobile elevated platforms.
Small Training Solutions’ counterbalance forklift truck instructors are fully qualified and accredited to The Regulatory Body for Workplace Transport Training. Our course timings can be tailored to meet your requirements and are available seven days a week. We can be fully flexible with timing as the option of night as well as day training is available.
The course includes all aspects of counterbalance forklift truck operation and covers everything from refuelling and/or recharging a gas, electric or diesel counterbalance forklift truck to ensuring that your staff understand the operators’ safety code.
As with all Small Training Solutions’ courses, we offer nationwide reach truck training seven days a week, day or night to suit. Our fully qualified, accredited trainers will ensure that your staff gain a thorough knowledge of all aspects of reach truck operation and entirely aware of their responsibilities with regards to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, PUWER 98 & LOLER 98.
As well as a practical assessment, the course includes a theory appraisal with the option of an oral test should the employee not be confident with either their literacy or language comprehension.
Lorry loaders or HIAB cranes are used to load/unload heavy cargoes and operating them is a useful skill for your workforce. Small Training Solutions offer HIAB training regardless of lorry loader experience/operation. Upon completion of our lorry loading/HIAB crane training course successful candidates will receive either an In House licence or RTITB Certificate depending upon your requirements which then allows them to operate lorry loaders anywhere in the UK with authorisation.
Comprising of both theory and practical training and assessment, our course meets the HSE code of practice L117 and our prices include all RTITB documentation and certification fees.
The job of a vehicle banksman or reversing assistant is vital for industries that involve the manoeuvre of cranes and large vehicles; for example, a building site or loading operation. Responsible for coordinating the vehicles’ movements, vehicle banksmen ensure the safety of both your workforce and the vehicle operators.
Our vehicle banksman training course covers all aspects of the job, from communication and signals to yard/site planning and even the correct safety clothing. Upon completion of the course, all candidates will be fully conversant with all aspects of the job and will receive an RTITB certificate and photo ID card.
