Steel Express 2021 Highlights

So what a year it has been... we wanted to share some of our top highlights with you all......
- Social Media marketing really came into force with Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook and Youtube all being launched
- We launched our 'working together' programme, supporting other companies - Thank you - NCG CAM Solutions Ltd @cncmaitenancesoluitions @addisonsaws @wentworthjames
- Our new App was launched allowing customers to order/quote on the go
- Due to recruitment of staff and new saws, we were able to offer a priority cutting service along with our 24/7 cutting service
- On site we now have the below cutting capabilities
A brand spanking new 'BEHRINGER GmbH LPS-T' Saw
2 x 'Brand New' 460 HB Band Saws and our 560 Band Saw (Addison Saws Ltd)
8 Automatic saws – Each saw can cut 9 different sizes from 1 bar at a variety of different volumes
1 Aluminium Plate Saw – Cutting up to 300mm thick
Water jet cutting machine
1 Circular saw
1 Altendorf Saw – Cutting up to 5” thick material
Steel Plate Saw – 4m x 2m – cut up to 600mm thick
Milling machines on site – machining up to 6 faces
- We moved into brand new offices (The sales staff are happier than ever!)
- A massive shout out to Alysha and Ant for achieving some amazing results regarding weight loss
- England lost in the final of the European Championships - boooooo!
- Daniel Moore became 30!
- Our sister company 'Stainless and Aluminium' became a main supplier of 6082 Aluminium Plate in all different thicknesses, after importing direct. We now continue to be a main distributor for the UK...
- We attended @interplasuk / @meet the toolmakers / @advanced engineering 2021 - It was great to meet new and existing Customers!
- We managed our first Christmas outing in a very long time @bongobingo
We also look forward to the new year which will see our new Kasto plate saw delivered - Allowing us to cut precision strips of material up to 2000mm long.
