In 2008, we formed Syntegra Consulting Ltd to provide Energy Performance Certification (EPC) and energy consultancy services to both residential and commercial sectors in response to the European Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).   Syntegra Consulting Ltd was established to meet the increasing green legislative drive towards sustainability and green, or Intelligent Buildings.

Air Conditioning Inspection (ACI)

In response to European mandates, all new air conditioning installations must be inspected within 5 years. To help bring compliance, we can bring together air conditioning inspectors to undertake a survey on any type of building across the UK.

We can help see that all existing air conditioning systems with an effective rated output greater than 250kW are also inspected.

BREEAM Assessment

BREEAM assessment is a rating tool for environmental standards of buildings. These guidelines set the standard for best practice in sustainable design.

BREEAM assessments are now an essential part of the environmental core planning policies for the development of new construction. It is now used to assess the environment performance of any type of building (new and existing).

Code for Sustainable Homes Assessment

Launched in 2007, the Code for Sustainable Homes replaces EcoHomes as the national standard to be used in the design and construction of new-build residential properties in England. We can help ensure your buildings meet these standards.

Commercial EPC/SBEM

Via our Green Surveyor ® brand we can mobilise our qualified commercial energy assessors to undertake an energy survey on any type of commercial building across the UK.

The commercial EPC will tell you how energy efficient the commercial property is on a scale of A-G, with A being the most efficient. The certificate also tells you, on a scale of A-G, about the impact the property has on the environment.  The commercial EPC‘s are valid for a 10 year period.

Display Energy Certificates (DEC)

We can aid in producing Display Energy Certificates (DECs) to show the actual energy usage of a building. The certificate must be displayed in a visible place at all times.

A building's operational rating is a numeric indicator of the amount of energy consumed during the occupation of the building over a period of 12 months. Using the Display Energy Certificates (DECs), we can help identify areas for environmental improvement.

Domestic EPC

In a similar manner to our commericial services, using our Green Surveyor ® brand, we can mobilise our qualified domestic energy assessors to undertake domestic EPC‘s on residential properties across the UK. Domestic EPC surveys can be both money saiving and beneficial.

Ecohomes Assessment

Designed as an environmental rating, the Ecohomes Assessment is a certification scheme accredited by the BRE and is often required by funding bodies for the construction of new homes. We can carry out assessment to give an entire developement a single environmental rating (From one house to multiple units).

New-build Domestic SAP/EPC

We are able to undertake new-build domestic SAP assessments and provide Predicted Energy Assessments (PEA) and On Construction Energy Performance Certificates (OCEPC) throughout the United Kingdom.

New-build domestic SAP assessments and calculations are used mainly to determine carbon index and energy values for new-build homes and property by providing a PEA during the design stage to attain building control approval. New-buildSAP/EPC legislation states that an OCEPC are valid for 3 years.
