Preformed Sealers
Preformed sealers can be fabricated as a pre-formed rubber sealant. This is a tacky, solid extrusion which is based on a synthetic rubber. It is coated in a high strength adhesive. When under tension the adhesive coating is strong enough to cause cohesive failure in the sealer, before losing adhesion to the substrate. Pre-formed sealers are non-curing and retain their same consistency after ageing in a variety of environments and under different weathering conditions.
