Technical Fabris (UK) Ltd was establised in 1995 by the current managment who, collectively, have over 100 years of experience in industrial fabrics for filtration. At our purpose built plant in Denbigh, North Wales, we are able to manufacture all types of filtration products for wet and dry filtration as well as mesh fabrics for sieving and seperation.
Technical Fabrics are included in the Dupont quality assurance labelling system for 100% virgin ® filter bags. Technical Fabrics are ISO 9001 compliant.
Here at Technical Fabrics (UK) Ltd, we have over a century of experience in industrial fabrics for filtration. We manufacture all types of filtration products for wet and dry filtration as well as mesh fabrics for sieving and separation. We manufacture a wide range of filter bags, filter cloths, airslide belts, filter fabrics, and filter belts.
We are included in the Dupont quality assurance labelling system for 100% virgin Nomex® filter bags and offer:
Airslide Belts which have been manufactured by Technical Fabrics partner Company for almost forty years, when the first conveyor lines were installed, using textiles to achieve material flow.
Continued research by our engineers, combined with the years of co-operation with both the manufacturers and end users of pneumatic conveying and handling equipment for powdered materials, has helped in the development of special woven fabrics for use in Silos, Hoppers and Stacks
Cloths for Centrifugal Machines and the special filtration requirements of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, combined with the high mechanical wear on centrifugal cloths, has led to the implementation of a very precise manufacturing technique with well defined components.
All of these types are manufactured from fabrics supplied from our partnership companies, all of whom are accredited to ISO 9000, ensuring total quality satisfaction. Our own in-house manufacturing facility uses best available practice to comply with clients' drawings and/or samples to guarantee repeat orders. Special technical cloths have been developed for the wide variety of applications requiring centrifugal machines, including polypropylene (resistant to acids and alkalis), cotton and other fibres for specific requirements. Synthetic fabrics are usually multifilament yarns to guarantee no fibre migration and, therefore, product contamination. Anti-static fabrics with stainless steel fibres are available for use where electrostatic charges cause problems.
Filter belt cloths for solid-liquid separation is the result of decades of research and development, along with close co-operation between our Engineers specialising in the various industry sectors. The consistent quality of the fabrics are as a result of constant personnel training and continual updating of our production facilities. Filters belts for vacuum filtration are manufactured from a wide variety of fabrics, each suited to a particular application such as Phosphoric Acid, Mining applications and other high specific weight solids filtration. Technical Fabrics filter belts can be supplied with a number of joint fastening types such as Loop and Hook, clipper joints, both polyester and stainless steel supplied with synthetic pintel wire. Special edge treatments have been developed to reduce edge leakage and assist in the tracking of the belt.
Filter cloths for both solid-liquid and solid-gas separation is the result of decades of research and development, along with close co-operation between our Engineers specialising in the various industry sectors. The consistent quality of the fabrics are as a result of constant personnel training and continual updating of our production facilities. Our Sales Engineers have access to a whole database of applications, classified according to the industry and the filter type, special details such as operating conditions and the required performance of the cloth are logged and updated regularly.
The use of fibres with different chemical and physical properties which are available in staple, multi and monofilament yarns, coupled with variations of the weave and certain specific finishing treatments, can allow for the production of fabrics suited to particular end use sand operating conditions. The table below shows the fibres on offer and some of the characteristics used in determining their uses.
