​Applications:

​​These components are widely used in the electronics field, chiefly in the manufacture of semi-conductor devices, printed circuits, capacitors and resistors. In other industries they have a wide range of application, including automotive parts, toys, instrumentation and customer durables for example.

Continuous Terminals:

​We can manufacture pins joined end to end, commonly known as "Continuous Terminals", to facilitate insertion into printed circuit boards or mouldings for example. This method of manufacture offers our customers substantial cost savings as it allows for the fully automatic insertion of pins from reels.

Our range of high speed machines with up to nine forming arms enables us to supply very complex component types. A few of the shapes we have supplied are illustrated above.

​These are extremely varied - from capacitors, resistors and valves to jewellery, toys, automotive products and consumer electrical appliances. Their chief properties may be either electrical or mechanical.

We make a wide variety of light pressed parts, chiefly from wire and metal strip. Our long experience in this area has helped us to develop progression tooling capable of manufacturing products incorporating both a wire diameter and a flat section.

Applications:

​Our contacts and connectors are chiefly used in the telecommunications industry and in switching devices. The various forms of rivet have a general application over an extremely wide field.

We carry out minature resistance welding, silver soldering and brazing of assemlies by simple automatic tooling. We also have an efficient hand section and can fabricate hand tools to accomodate work for customers who require only small quantities. This enables us to assist our customers' product development by undertaking experimental work such as components of prototype products.
