Established in Macclesfield 30 years ago AMTRI has a staff of 30 professional engineers and provides cost effective manufacturing machinery and automation solutions for a wide range of industrial sectors.

Systems Projects AMTRI manufactures and supplies special machines, robotic cells and automation systems. Applications range from flexible glass packing machinery, through test and inspection equipment to turn-key automation and robotic assembly systems for components ranging from automotive disk brakes to large aircraft wings

Research AMTRI has a focussed research program to develop key technologies. It has close relationships with academic, technical and commercial organisations throughout the world, participating in major national and EU research projects and technology transfer networks.

Consultancy AMTRI provides specialist technical services in machine design, structural analysis, vibration troubleshooting, process improvement, simulation, safety etc. AMTRI has a part owned subsidiary which is a "Notified Body" under the EU "Machinery Directive". It is also an accredited certification body for quality systems to ISO 9000 and environmental systems to ISO 14000.
