Watson-Marlow Tubing leads the world in Pumpsil, Accusil, PureWeld and Bioprene TPE pump tubing specifically manufactured for the biopharmaceutical industries. In their state-of-the-art cleanrooms Watson-Marlow manufacture Pumpsil premium quality platinum-cured silicone tube, Bioprene a unique Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) tube and PureWeld XL a pure thermoplastic elastomer that can be welded and heat-sealed. Watson-Marlow also produces tubing for food, industrial and mining applications. The MasoSine Process Pumps Positive Displacement Pump is a highly reliable pump for sanitary and industrial applications. It is frequently chosen as a food pump and is also used to transfer shear sensitive fluids such as shampoos and lotions for the cosmetics industry. Flexicon Liquid Filling aseptic filling and capping systems for pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostic applications offers a range of products from stand-alone units for hand filling, through semi-automatic systems, to fully automatic filling, stoppering and capping machines.
A peristaltic pump is well suited to aseptic processes, as it is a sealless pump with no valves or glands to leak, clog or replace. The process fluid touches only a tube – it does not come into contact with the pump itself. The tubing can be easily cleaned or replaced, eliminating contamination and ensuring a fast and efficient validation process.
Bredel Hose Pumps produce high flow high pressure pumps up to 80,000 litres/hour with pressures to 16bar (232 psi) with unique patented direct coupled design. Duplex and CIP models are available. These pumps are found in a range of applications including use as slurry pumps and for handling abrasive, corrosive, high viscosity and shear sensitive products.
Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) is the world’s largest custom peristaltic pump source for OEM applications. Their OEM peristaltic pumps are available at flow rates ranging from microlitres per minute to 80,000 litres/hour and from one to 32 channels of flow. The range includes a mini peristaltic pump which is the smallest in the market.
Watson-Marlow Qdos pumps are designed as a chemical metering pump with flow rates up to 30 litres/hour at 7 bar (100psi), for use in environmental applications, including water treatment, and reagent dosing in the mining industries. This no-valve metering pump lowers installation and maintenance costs. As metering pump manufacturers they have created a drop-in replacement to diaphragm metering pumps.
