TVS vibration isolation products have been used to reduce the transmission of noise and vibration from mechanical equipment onto a building structure, support, isolate and suspend mechanical equipment, and to protect equipment from damage during seismic activity.
TVS spring vibration isolators are used to reduce the transmission of noise, shock, and vibration produced by mechanical, industrial or process equipment into or within a building structure.

Kinetics Model FDS free-standing spring mounts are recommended for use in isolating floor mounted sources of noise and vibration located near critically quiet areas.
Model FDS spring mounts are typically used to reduce the transmission of noise and vibration from low speed mechanical equipment into a building structure. Operating static deflections are available up to 4" (102 mm) to compensate for long span floor structures.
Model FDS spring mounts are used in a wide range of applications, some requiring Kinetics equipment bases in addition to spring isolators, and can be used to support and isolate the following equipment types: reciprocating air or refrigeration compressors, close coupled and base mounted pumps, packaged air handling and refrigeration equipment, centrifugal fans, internal combustion engines, and similar equipment. Model FDS Isolators are for use on equipment that is not subject to lateral forces such as wind.
Kinetics Model FLS vertically restrained spring isolation mounts are recommended as a noise and vibration isolator for mechanical equipment located near critically quiet areas, when the equipment to be isolated has significant changes of weight during maintenance operations, and for equipment subjected to external forces or high wind loads.
Operating static deflections are available up to 4" (102 mm) to compensate for long span flexible floor structures and maintain a high degree of noise and vibration isolation.
Kinetics Model RH hangers are used to isolate suspended sources of audible frequency vibration, or isolation of noise in piping and ductwork systems.
Model RH hangers are shipped fully assembled and ready for installation in threaded rod suspension systems.
Model RH hangers are available in a wide range of load selections and up to 0.57" (15 mm) static deflection and can be provided with labour saving accessories for adaption to wire or strap suspension systems.
Kinetics Model SH Vibration Isolation Hangers are designed to reduce the transmission of vibration and noise produced by suspended equipment and piping. SH Hangers incorporate a high deflection colour-coded spring element, a No-Short spring cap, and noise isolation pad, assembled into a stamped or welded hanger bracket. To assure stability, the spring element has a minimum lateral spring stiffness of 1.0 times the rated vertical stiffness. SH Hangers will allow a support rod misalignment through a 30° arc without short-circuiting. Isolation brackets will carry a 500% overload without failure. Hangers are available in deflections from 1" to 4" (25 to 102 mm) and in capacities from 35 to 3850 lbs. (16 to 1746 kg). SH Hangers are effective in isolating vibration produced by low rpm equipment. Kinetics Model SH Hangers are recommended for the isolation of vibration produced by suspended mechanical equipment, in-line and exhaust fans, ductwork, piping, etc.

The broad choice of products, spanning a wide range of load bearing capacities and natural frequencies allows TVS to meet the specialist requirements of all vibration isolation applications, including machinery, bridges and building.
On brownfield sites or developments in close proximity to rail and underground lines, construction is sometimes only viable if adequate building vibration control treatments are incorporated into the building design, in order to protect the building structure from ground borne vibration.
Equally, buildings which house vibration inducing machinery, such as plant rooms, must be treated to prevent unwanted vibrations from travelling throughout the building and into residential areas and noise critical spaces.
