O F BELL INJECTION MOULDING has been supplying a worldwide client base with miniature plastic mouldings and injection mould tools for over 30 years working in various sectors including Automotive, Construction, Medical and Oil & Gas.
At O F BELL INJECTION MOULDING we operate a twenty four hour operation and can accommodate small, complex and long production runs. With machines running at a clamp forces from 6 up to 35 tonnes, the production facility is geared to the manufacture of small complexed components. The internal procedures allow for the adoption of customers quality requirements to be seamlessly applied ensuring that the appropriate levels of inspection are applied to every injection moulding.
These procedures ensure the highest possible quality is produced every time. As we work towards the quality standard ISO 9001:2000 we already have many procedures in place to satisfy the highest possible quality is produced time and time again.
Our Services Include
The ultimate quality of any injection moulding is very much dependent, not only on the design of the component but also the design, accuracy and construction of the mould tool. At O F BELL INJECTION MOULDING we have a fully equipped in-house tooling facility using CAD to design and construct injection mould tools.
Being an in-house facility means that your project can remain confidential and that your costs remain low and lead times are met with the shortest deadlines. Tools produced can be single or multi cavity providing the most cost effective solution for our customers
Quality & Services
At O F BELL INJECTION MOULDING we are continually improving the systems and procedures to ease the handling of the production mix. This enables us to meet repeat and scheduled deliveries in low, medium or high volume quantities.
O F BELL INJECTION MOULDING believes the partnership begins from the moment that you place your first enquiry with us. At the technical level, we consult to ensure a precise definition and understanding of the design, specification and application. Over and above this we seek to ensure that the design for manufacture optimises our opportunity to give you a service second to none.
Prototype & Development
A smooth design process and development of your new product guarantees that your deadlines are met. Here at O F BELL INJECTION MOULDING our engineers take into consideration all the processing requirements and will assist you with material specification for producing tooling of the very highest standards.
From the initial concept design through to prototype and final moulded components, O F BELL INJECTION MOULDING has the expertise.
Injection Moulding Materials
Our technical product knowledge is vast and we have many years’ experience of moulding most the following engineering thermoplastics: About 50% of our products are moulded in standard materials like ABS, PP, Nylon and PA6 & PA66, Glass filled Nylons, PPS, ABS, Acetal. The remainder utilise some of the more complex Engineering Polymers such as modified Nylons, including Glass filled and Bead filled (Grivory/Zytel), Carbon Fibre filled, and PTFE loaded. Other materials processed regularly are Polyphennylesulphide (PPS), Polyetheretherkeytone (PEEK), PBT, Verton, Vectra, and Rynite. & Acrylic. While a few are more specialist like PEEK, Grivory, Verton, Vectra, Zytel and Rynite.
With a wide range of specialist equipment O F BELL INJECTION MOULDING is able to offer over-moulding of metal parts, as well as plastic, and provide insert moulding in small or production quantities
The world’s leading manufacturers’ of high-performance thermoplastics that allow engineers and designers to reach new levels of systems cost savings, differentiation, and quality. The polymer’s design and processing flexibility make it a great choice for aerospace applications.
PEEK polymers may successfully replace metals such as aluminium, titanium, magnesium, brass, corrosion-resistant (CRES) or stainless steel and specialty alloys because it offers a unique combination of mechanical, thermal and tribological properties, combined with excellent chemical resistance and electrical performance.
Several PEEK polymer grades and compounds are available to maximize mechanical properties and improve mouldability. It is readily available in finished form such as stock shapes, injection and compression moulded parts, films and coatings.
