INKOMA-GROUP precision screw jacks are high quality engineered products for precise lifting, lowering and pivoting of loads, and are, under normal operating conditions, maintenance free. Designed for use in a wide range of Industrial machinery and with a load capability from 2.5kN to 2000kN, the screw jacks can be supplied as single components or part of a complete lifting system, with bevel gearboxes, cardan shafts and motors. INKOMA screw jack housings have a cubic form and are machined on all faces. The use of high quality grey cast iron or aluminium in the production of the housings guarantees a long life and high operating margin. Motor and screw jack assemblies may be mounted in any attitude. Compressive, tensile and offset loadings can be tolerated even under extreme operating conditions. The worm gear is manufactured from quality alloy steel and is ground and ion-nitrided. 2 gear ratios are available and these are matched to the spindle pitch.
The HSGK high performance screw jack guarantees optimum operation even in extreme situations. The HSGK screw jack has a larger ribbed housing with oil lubrication for improved heat dissipation, allowing increased duty and higher input speeds. The gear housing is manufactured in high quality grey cast iron, with oil sight glass, and breather positioned according to the required mounting position.
The KSH -high speed screw jack is distinguished from the HSG/HSGK range as precision Klingelnberg spiral bevel gear sets are used, rather than the traditional worm gear drive. The KSH still has a modular design and is available in 3 different sizes. All gear housings are cubic and each size is available with 2 ratios. Lifting speeds fo upto 30m/min with ball screw nad 13.5m/min with trapezoidal spindle are possible, Due to the high efficiency of the bevels gears overall screw jack efficiency is greatly increased.
ALBERT SGT single face screw jacks are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, A range of 13 sizes, coupled with a modular approach to design and installation arrangements, ensure customer design requirements can be achieved. Logically designed combinations of accessories with good interchangeability, make simple installation possible , whilst permitting operation in any chosen position and attitude with minimum space requirements.
Ball screw versions for higher duty and higher lifting speed
The INKOMA DSH screw jacks have no internal gear system. Instead a special torque motor is used to directly drive the ball screw spindle resulting in smooth backlash free rotation. IN the DSH system there are virtually no mechanical losses. Specially selected bearings ensure the spindle can withstand both tensile and compressive loads. The compact drive unit has a rigid construction and is suitable for high dynamic applications, Seven cycles per second and lifting speeds of 32m/min are achievable. Repeatable positioning accuracy is also very high. The DSH-units can be synchronised when working together in a system, allowing the screw jacks to be positioned at different levels within the application. The DSH system has high energy efficiency. During operation the torque motor is used to control the speed and hold position of the ball screw spindle. An integrated brake is also available for increased safety.
INKOMA KL spiral bevel gear boxes are fitted with Klingelnberg spiral bevel gears for efficient transmission of very high torque, They ensure quiet, vibration free running, and due to their symmetrical layout, have extremely compact dimensions. INKOMA spiral bevel gear units are manufactured in high quality grey cast iron and all mounting faces are precisely machined, A newly patented design feature allows minimal backlash to be achieved by simple adjustment without the need to disassemble the gearbox. The KL gearboxes are oil lubricated and under normal operating conditions maintenance free.
INKOMA KG hollow shaft bevel gearboxes have dimensions compatible with the HSG screw jack range. The centre height and the input shaft diameter are matched with the equivalent HSG screw jack. They are often used when the motor needs to be positioned at right angles to the worm shaft of the screw jack. Mounting holes enable the KG gearbox to be assembled directly to the HSG screw jack. Separate male shafts are also available to use the KG gear unit as a compact right angle gearbox.

The INKOMA-PK Coupling is designed to transmit torque between axially parallel, radial offset shafts. The coupling permits both static and dynamic adjustment of radial offset within the designed adjustment range. The coupling functions on a parallel crank principle with each movement at the input repeated at the output, without loss any loss or change. The PK coupling comprises of 3 discs with their faces parallel to each other, connected by at least 3 links.
The INKOMA- Lineflex (LFK) coupling is designed to transmit torque between shafts having parallel but offset axes. The amount of offset can be infinitely varied within the design limits, for both dynamic and static loads. The coupling is similar to the PK coupling and comprises of 3 discs. The discs are arranged with their faces parallel and are connected with at least 2 pairs of links at right angles to each other. This special link arrangement allows problem free connection parallel shafts having zero offset.
The INKOMA-Inkoflex (IFK) coupling is designed for the transmission of torque between two shafts where the alignment cannot be guaranteed, or where the alignment of the shafts can vary during the operation. The IFK coupling compensates for both radial and angular misalignment of the shafts in operation, within the stated limiting values.
The INKOMA-Inkocross (KWK) coupling uniformly transmits torque between input and output. The KWK coupling can tolerate a parallel offset and an angular deflection of the shafts. In addition it may be loaded axially in both tension and compression.
The INKOMA- KSO (Oldham design) couplings are machined elements for smooth torque transmission between the input and output. The KSO coupling can accommodate parallel and angular misalignment.
INKOMA-Elaflex (EFK) couplings are used in general machinery for any situation where there is difficulty in achieving precise alignment between torque transmission components. The Elaflex couplings are available in a number of basic versions and their simple design and wide range of options mean they are extremely versatile. They provide positive drive, are suitable for use in both directions of rotation and effective damping of vibration and shock is achieved via the central element.
The INKOMA-Inkoturn (IKT) coupling is a flexible coupling with high torsional rigidity, which has been developed for applications requiring high speed and where shaft misalignment is present. It can accept axial, radial and angular misalignment. Due to the design of the coupling negligible reaction forces are seen at the support bearings due to misalignment. Developed with low mass, low inertia and being dynamically balanced the IKT coupling is suitable fro dynamic applications where angular misalignment is present.
The INKOMA Muff Couplings are a rigid coupling and are used when precise shaft alignment is required. They can be supplied in mild steel and stainless steel although other materials are available. The SKA version is for connecting shafts of the same diameter and the SKB version for connecting shafts of different diameters. Both the SKA and SKB couplings can be provided with or without keyways.
The INKOMA Inkobrake is a DC spring applied brake. In a power off state a braking torque is applied via compression springs pressing an armature plate and rotor against a mating surface. The brake will be released when a DC voltage is applied to the electromagnetic coil. It is used when a rotating shaft needs to be stopped quickly, where safe stopping is required in case of power failure or where a specific position is to be maintained. There are 2 versions available. The Standard version (IKBs) is suitable for general applications, and the Quick Release version (IKBq) is intended for applications that require a faster release time or where energy saving is a main priority.
INKOM shaft-hub connections provide a cost effective method for the transmission of rotary motion and torque. The product range is designed to allow the combination of a wide range of components to be assembled and used in a wide range of applications. The range consists of Polygon profiles which typically have around 30% more torque capability than traditional profiles. Splined shafts, hubs, clamping rings, flanged hubs and sliding naves are available.

ALBERT has specifically developed the ASN range of solar linear actuators to meet the application demands for use in photovoltaic tracking systems. The ASN solar linear actuator range is available in three installation sizes with a load capability from 25kN to 100kN. The system is supported by a flexible mounting that can be installed anywhere on the out tube, allowing for easy integration of the actuator into both existing and new tracker systems. The units are very low maintenance thus ensuring smooth continuous operation and a long service life.
The INKOMA (LA) actuator range compliments the comprehensive range of INKOMA-Group screw jacks. The LA actuators are designed to meet industrial requirements and are easy to install, compact, robust and maintenance free.
