The TRT Series are true three-phase, fully automatic test sets, specially designed for turns ratio, phase shift, and excitation current measurement of power, distribution, and instrument transformers. The TRT Series determines the transformer turns ratio by accurately measuring voltages across the unloaded transformer windings. The ratio of these voltages is then displayed by the TRT instruments. This ratio of voltages can also be automatically rescaled to match the physical ratio of a number of turns on a transformer high and low voltage side. All TRT devices are equipped with a tap changer control unit that allows tap positions to be changed remotely, and even automatically. A USB Flash Drive feature enables all the test results to be saved to a USB memory stick. LL DV Power instrumentation comes complete with intuitive DV-Win software for detailed data analysis.

This range of brass and Stainless steel tube couplings is offered with the Drallim resilient captive seal or a brass metal compression olive. (Couplings are supplied complete with nuts and sealing rings.)

TRT03B is a three-phase, fully automatic test set specially designed for turns ratio, phase shift and excitation current measurements of power, distribution and instrument transformers. The TWA series instruments are designed for six-winding resistance measurement and simultaneous three phase on-load tap changer analysis of both the primary and the secondary transformer windings (provided by the TWA40 model). This is performed with a one single-step cable setup, with test currents of up to 40A. Each transformer configuration has a special measurement algorithm which is optimized for the fast stabilization of test results.

The TWA instruments generate a true DC ripple-free current. Both the injection of the current and the discharge of energy from the magnetic circuit are automatically regulated.

The VLF range of test sets are perfectly suited for testing high capacitance loads such as cable and rotating machinery. This is a pass fail test i.e. bad cable will fail during testing rather than in service. VLF can also be used as the voltage source for diagnostic cable testing such as Tan Delta and Partial Discharge.
