Depending on the size, weight and nature of your product, we offer a range of high quality timber and corrugated packaging solutions to ensure your cargo arrives at its destination safely, securely and in line with the local and international regulations.

We can also arrange for your product to be custom packed in house, or with a network of delivery and collection services, if required, we can arrange to pack your products on site.

Custom packing – timber and plywood

Whether you need a one-off case, an exhibition box or more specialised export packing, we can tailor a timber packing solution to meet your cargos’ specific travel and storage requirements.

Our timber cases, which are generally designed for heavier, larger consignments, and plywood cases, more commonly suited for airfreight, are constructed using Heat Treated timber and manufactured to International ISPM15 standards. We also carry a range of exhibition boxes which are strong, reusable and ideal for the safe transportation of fragile products for overseas exhibitions and trade fairs.

All our timber cases are tailored to suit their shipment, whether it is by sea, air, rail or road, and where required, moisture barriers will be included to give added protection against climate and storage.

Export packing - specialised cardboard boxes

SPI’s cardboard packing boxes are specifically designed to store and transport heavy goods on mainland or abroad. From medium duty double wall cardboard boxes to heavy duty triple wall (tri wall) boxes, these can be easily palletised and are non-crushable.

Based in Hampshire and with operations outside Heathrow, SPI is located within easy reach of all major UK airports, motorways and southern ports.

As well as providing fully insured private cargo warehousing space, we adhere to strict processes and internal policies to ensure your goods are 100% safe and secure. All our cargo warehouses are monitored using the latest surveillance equipment and intruder alarm systems. In addition, we carry out overnight security patrols and operate stringent control checks when goods arrive and depart.
