Vacuum Forming and Fabrication are processes which are used in making plastic products. Fabrication is the first step where plastic is fabricated using CNC trimming and Line Bending to get a flat sheet of plastic. This sheet is then put through the vacuum forming process, where it is heated to make it soft and pliable, before being applied to the forming tool. A vacuum is used to force the plastic to adopt the shape of the tool. It is then allowed to cool and the product is ready.
