Specialised Workwear

Specialised workwear as the name suggests refer to workwear which is designed or intended to be used in specialised working environments. Although most industries use one or other form of workwear, personal protection equipment used in a fire department, for example, differs greatly from the one used by sewer services staff as the fire wardens normally need protection against fire and flames. Whereas those working in severe will require protection from water, chemicals and poisonous gases normally found in sewerage systems. A simple example is a fire retardant jacket and a waterproof jacket as both are designed using different material and are intended to be used in separate industries.
