Acorn is a leading provider of training, learning and development solutions with 1000 plus individuals receiving training from Acorn each month.We design, deliver and evaluate a comprehensive range of training and development solutions to service both business and individual needs. Acorn will complete a total assessment of the workforce (temporary and permanent) and produce a detailed training plan and budget forecast for clients. Assistance to secure appropriate funding support forms a key part of our service. Additionally as a Welsh Assembly Government approved training provider, with access to our own funding support, we can manage a range of available funding options based on learner eligibility.

The Acorn Group now offers guaranteed hours contracts of employment to eligible temporary agency workers. You will have been notified by your consultant if you are eligible.Benefits of being a flexible employee include:
- The Acorn Group guaranteeing that you will be offered at least 336 hours of work on Assignment over the course of any full 12 month period, subject to you being employed for a minimum of 12 continuous months
If eligible for flexi-temp payments you will benefit from:
- A flexi-temp allowance of £5 / £10 per day in respect of a shift at a client site, providing your shift is a minimum of 5 / 10 hours respectively; and / or
- A flexi-temp travel allowance per day, the amount of which is dependent on the number of miles travelled in line with current HMRC rates. This allowance will only apply if you personally drive to work.
