AML Instruments are delighted to announce the acquisition of DRC “Dorset Repair & Calibration Services”, we will begin operating under the AML umbrella on the 17th February 2023. Here at AML Instruments, we look forward to serving DRC’s loyal customers. DRC are a long-established force calibration and repair specialists, our coming together will allow us to even better serve our combined customers. This is an exciting opportunity for AML and fits in perfectly with the company’s goals and vision.
AML has an extensive and growing force calibration & repair customer base, and they calibrate a wide range of force equipment such as: Load Cells, Force Gauges, Load Links, Crane Scales, Axel Weigh Pads, Universal Testing Machines and Tensile Testers.

The acquisition of DRC “Dorset Repair & Calibration Services” will benefit both existing customer bases. AML holds both ISO 9001 & 17025 for calibration, giving greater confidence in the accuracy & quality of the calibrations provided.
Within the coming months our UKAS scope will cover force calibrations from 1N to 500 kN (50 tonnes), with extended capabilities outside of the scope right up to 3000 kN (300 tonnes) on a traceable to National Standards basis for the calibrations.
AML will provide a smooth transition of all customers from DRC and we will maintain all pricing, service levels and times.
