LT1944-1 - Dual Micropower Step-Up DC/DC Converter
The LT1944-1 is a dual micropower step-up DC/DC converter in a 10-pin MSOP package. One converter is designed with a 100mA current limit and a 400ns off-time; the other with a 175mA current limit and a 1.5µs off-time.The 1.5µs off-time converter is ideal for generating an output voltage that is close to the input voltage (i.e. a Li-Ion to 5V converter, or a two-cell to 3.3V converter). With an input voltage range of 1.2V to 15V,the LT1944-1 is ideal for a wide variety of applications. Both converters feature a quiescent current of only 20µA at no load, which further reduces to 0.5µA in shutdown. A current limited, fixed off-time control scheme conserves operating current, resulting in high efficiency over a broad range of load current.Tiny, low profile inductors and capacitors can be used to minimize footprint and cost in space-conscious portable applications.Request a Quote Supplied by Analog Devices Ltd -

LT1948 - DC/DC Converter for TFT-LCD Panels
OBSOLETE: For Information Purposes Only. Contact Linear Technology for Potential Replacement. The LT1948 is a highly integrated multiple output DC/DC converter designed for use in TFT-LCD panels. The device contains two independent switching regulators: the main regulator has an adjustable output voltage with an internal 1.1A switch that can generate a boosted voltage as high as 30V while the second regulator generates 23V at up to 10mA for positive bias. A simple level-shift charge pump off the main switch node generates the negative bias voltage. An external capacitor sets the delay time from AVDD reaching final value to 23V appearing at the VON pin. The 3MHz switching frequency allows the use of tiny low profile chip inductors and capacitors throughout, providing a low noise, low cost total solution with all components under 1.25mm in height. The device operates from an input range of 2.6V to 6V and is available in an 8-lead MSOP package.Request a Quote Supplied by Analog Devices Ltd -

LT3433 - High Voltage Step-Up/Step-Down DC/DC Converter
The LT3433 is a 200kHz fixed-frequency current mode switching regulator that provides both step-up and stepdown regulation using a single inductor. The IC operates over a 4V to 60V input voltage range making it suitable for use in various wide input voltage range applications such as automotive electronics that must withstand both load dump and cold crank conditions. Internal control circuitry monitors system conditions and converts from single switch buck operation to dual switch bridged operation when required, seamlessly changing between step-down and step-up voltage conversion. Optional Burst Mode operation reduces no-load quiescent current to 100µA and maintains high efficiencies with light loads. Current limit foldback and frequency foldback help prevent inductor current runaway during start-up. Programmable soft-start helps prevent output overshoot at start-up. The LT3433 is available in a 16-lead thermally enhanced TSSOP package.Request a Quote Supplied by Analog Devices Ltd
