  1. LT1026 - Voltage Converter

    LT1026 - Voltage Converter
The LT1026 is a switched capacitor voltage doubler and inverter on a single monolithic die. Capable of operating from a 4V to 10V input, it provides ±7V to ±18V output.Output currents of over 10mA are available. Two charge pumps first double the input voltage then invert the doubled voltage. Manufactured in bipolar technology, theLT1026 is not susceptible to latchup and generates up to36V. The LT1026 offers a convenient way of generating additional system voltages without using inductors. Powering interface circuits, op amps or data acquisition circuitry off logic supplies is simplified.
  2. LT1054 - Switched-Capacitor Voltage Converter with Regulator

    LT1054 - Switched-Capacitor Voltage Converter with Regulator
The LT®1054 is a monolithic, bipolar, switched-capacitor voltage converter and regulator. The LT1054 provides higher output current than previously available converters with significantly lower voltage losses. An adaptive switch driver scheme optimizes efficiency over a wide range of output currents. Total voltage loss at 100mA output current is typically 1.1V. This holds true over the full supply voltage range of 3.5V to 15V. Quiescent current is typically 2.5mA. The LT1054 also provides regulation, a feature not previously available in switched-capacitor voltage converters. By adding an external resistive divider a regulated output can be obtained. This output will be regulated against changes in both input voltage and output current. The LT1054 can also be shut down by grounding the feedback pin. Supply current in shutdown is less than 100ΜA. The internal oscillator of the LT1054 runs at a nominal frequency of 25kHz. The oscillator pin can be used to adjust the switching frequency or to externally synchronize the LT1054. The LT1054 is pin compatible with previous converters such the LTC1044/LTC7660.
  3. LT1073 - Micropower DC-DC Converter Adjustable and Fixed 5V, 12V

    LT1073 - Micropower DC-DC Converter Adjustable and Fixed 5V, 12V
The LT1073 is a versatile micropower DC/DC converter. The device requires only three external components to deliver a fixed output of 5V or 12V. The very low minimum supply voltage of 1V allows the use of the LT1073 in applications where the primary power source is a single cell. An on-chip auxiliary gain block can function as a low-battery detector or linear post-regulator. Average current drain of the LT1073-5 used as shown in the Typical Application circuit below is just 135µA unloaded, making it ideal for applications where long battery life is important. The circuit shown can deliver 5V at 40mA from an input as low as 1.25V and 5V at 10mA from a 1V input. The device can easily be configured as a step-up or step-down converter, although for most step-down applications or input sources greater than 3V, the LT1173 is recommended. Switch current limiting is user-adjustable by adding a single external resistor. Unique reverse-battery protection circuitry limits reverse current to safe, nondestructive levels at reverse supply voltages up to 1.6V.
  4. LT1088 - Wideband RMS-DC Converter Building Block

    LT1088 - Wideband RMS-DC Converter Building Block
The LT1088 is a thermally based RMS-DC converter building block. It converts the input waveform to heat. Usiing external circuitry, the thermal signal is expressed as a DC output voltage. LTC's proprietary thermal packaging process permits accurate thermal signal processing in a standard IC package. The thermal method provides far greater bandwidth than RMS converters based on logarithmic computing techniques. The LT1088's high voltage breakdown allows crest factor measurements of 50:1 and operation over a 20:1 input dynamic range. Resistive inputs of 50 ohm or 250 ohm accommodate drive from a wide variety of sources.
  5. LT1106 - Micropower Step-Up DC/DC Converter for PCMCIA Card Flash Memory

LT1106 - Micropower Step-Up DC/DC Converter for PCMCIA Card Flash Memory
Obsolete - Datasheet For Information Purposes Only. Contact Linear Technology for Potential Replacement The LT®1106 is the industry's first DC/DC converter designed for use on Type I and Type II PCMCIA cards. The device senses the VPP1 and VPP2 lines at the PCMCIA socket and generates a regulated 12V, 60mA programming supply if the socket does not provide it. Internal logic simplifies the interface to PCMCIA card microcontrollers. One input selects a 12V or 5V regulated output, while another input controls micropower shutdown. Two logic outputs indicate when the selected programming voltage is valid and whether the input supply is 3.3V or 5V. The regulator features BurstMode™ operation with a 0.5A, 300mV switch for efficiency up to 85%. High frequency 500kHz switching permits the use of small value, flat inductors that fit neatly on PCMCIA cards. The device requires just 1µF of output capacitance. Quiescent current is 750µA which drops to 350µA when the card runs off the socket supply. The shutdown pin reduces supply current to only 10µA. The device includes a soft start feature which limits supply current transients when the card is inserted into a hot socket.
