The Lifeline® MCS Manifold is a compact and fully automatic manifold control system for medical gases. Regarded as a leading manifold control panel in its class, the Lifeline® MCS Manifold combines ease of use, installation and maintenance with a very high flow capacity. We use two stage regulators in our manifolds as standard. This results in a leading high flow capacity of 1,750 lpm at 4 bar stable pressure over the entire flow range. We always use halogen free high pressure regulators which reduce the risks of self-ignition and emission of toxic gases. The manifold has a graphical display with a precise pressure indication which give you visibility on your medical gas consumption. Additional visuals of remaining cylinders gas volume and average flow consumption provide full control over your medical gas installation. The digital control panel and two stage regulators allow for low changeover pressure that can save you thousands liters of valued gas annually. This saves you money.

Semi Automatic Manifold

Manual Manifold

• The manual manifold is designed for use in medical or laboratory gas applications
• Change over to the standby bank of cylinders is achieved by turning off the empty cylinders, and opening the standby cylinders for continuity of gas supply.
• Flow capacity is 1200 lpm at 4 bar and 2000 lpm at 7 or 11 bar

Our MedGasScan audit enables you to identify oxygen and other medical gas leaks on your pipeline and equipment, helping you to calculate the total losses on each gas pipeline and determine the amount of gas lost per annum. This can be converted back to a cost-saving for your facility, as well as help you eliminate the potential fire risk associated with oxygen leaks and reduce the large negative carbon impact of gases such as nitrous oxide and nitrous oxide/oxygen mixture (50% v/v). 

How does it work?

• The camera detects ultrasonic signals produced by loss of gases such as oxygen, nitrous oxide, nitrous oxide/oxygen mixture (50% v/v), or medical air, which are not audible to the human ear.
• It forms an accurate acoustic image which is transposed in real-time on top of a digital camera picture, which allows the user to accurately see from which directions sound is arriving.
• Once the gas system has been tested and tagged, a comprehensive report is produced highlighting any leaks on the system.
• In the report, a visual record of the leak is produced - the louder the leak, the darker the image, with colours ranging from yellow to red.
• The report is uploaded onto our cloud-based MGPS asset, compliance and risk management system, MyMedGas.

Medical Gas Alarm Panels

The Medipoint Digital Medical Gas Central Alarm is designed to provide full monitoring of the complete medical gas system. An individual Medipoint 125 alarm panel displays up to 5 gas sources in the ‘Normal’ and 4 ‘stage’ alarm conditions or may be used to display up to 20 individual point alarms.

Repeating Alarms

The Medipoint D26 Local Alarm, as well as the Medipoint D125 Central Alarm System can have slave panels installed, in order to repeat status conditions to other areas within the hospital. This enables a local alarm panel to be installed within the Operating Theatre, as per HTM02-01 code requirements but also a repeater panel installed outside the OR where staff nurses can also monitor medical gas pressure status.

Design Services

Before a project begins our experienced Sales Support team offers expert medical gas design services, to assist your design professional with the specialised design work of the medical gas pipeline system. With new build hospitals and refurbishments, we are involved in the early planning stages, offering advice on the design of a new MGPS including where necessary field surveys to determine the integrity of existing systems. Our installers work in close proximity to clinical staff and patients, where ward upgrades for example, mean neighbouring wards are being maintained. We are adept at handling issues with designs that require updating and provide as fitted drawings with each new installation. This service helps ensure hospital drawings are current and prevents the use of outdated drawings in future developments or upgrades.

The BeaconMedaes CE marked product range is now available in BIM format. These models are available on request and will enable MGPS to be coordinated alongside other services.

Not only can we provide designs of medical gas pipelines to HTM02-01 guidelines, our experienced in-house design support team can also provide detailed 3D drawings and schematics showing detailed sizes, equipment and locations. This simplifies the onsite installation work and can be easily adjusted by our in-house design support team to produce detailed and accurate as fitted layout drawings once installation has been completed.
