Billington Safety Systems design and manufacture access gantries, work platforms and staging to go round and over you machines. Due the nature of the machine and the wide variety of applications these are all specifically designed to the customer’s needs. The platforms allow safe access to and from areas these can also be incorporated into the guarding system around the machine, giving designated safe routes through the work area. All the access platforms we design, manufacture and install are fully compliant to current standards. When designing the access platforms, we look at what the customer is looking to achieve, the environment the access platform is going into and the usage of the platform, from this then we can pick the best materials to do the job. We can manufacture the access platform from a wide variety of materials such as stainless steel, Aluminium, Hot dip galvanised or mild still powder coated for indoor or outdoor use. A full installation service is available on all our access platforms and staging.

A pre-manufactured strong & cost effective alternative to timber, which maintains the integrity of overhead sprinkler coverage, a fire safety choice. Available from stock in 910 & 1110mm depths & in widths to suit most beam lengths. Special sized panels can be made to suit most types of pallet racking & shelving.

This one-of-a kind deck turns standard single deep frames into 2 sided picking solutions. The 3? overhang in tandem with the sloped design provides both a clear view and easy access to manually handled boxes or bins. Best of all the design allows for an extra beam level over five or six levels, meaning more storage capacity than standard flat wire decks. Various sizes and capacities available.

This is a low cost integrated single skin steel partition system suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial offices, storage areas, factory dividing walls. A comprehensive range of single and double swinging doors, sliding doors and hatches are available. These can be fitted with most types of locks and latches, including interlocks. The panels are bolted together using M8 bolts and nuts, the panels are also fixed to the floor with pan head screws and 6mm plastic plugs. Posts are used every third panel and are fixed to the floor with 12mm anchor bolts and in-fills come as 21 SWG CR4 sheet steel or 50mm x 50mm x 12SWG weld mesh.

Mez floor systems are designed to protect personnel while in hazardous areas. This product can work in combination with the solid partitioning and our pedestrian safety barrier system, demonstrating the versatility of both systems. The panels are bolted directly to posts and a handrail is then fitted between each post. The posts can be bolted to concrete or chipboard floors using M12 Bolts and nuts, as used on mezzanine floors.
