Digital Viscometer

The DV-E combines economy and ease of operation with traditional Brookfield excellence. The Brookfield DV-E has set a world standard for value in viscosity measurement. Simplified controls allow operators to change test parameters quickly with the push of a switch and turn of a knob.

The digital display ensures easy and accurate readout of test results for simultaneous measurement of viscosity and torque. Quality of manufacture guarantees reliable performance and long life.

Falling Ball Viscometer

The Höppler principle is used to measure the viscosity of Newtonian liquid by measuring the time required for a ball to fall under gravity through a sample-filled tube that is inclined at an angle. The average time of three tests is taken; the result is converted into a viscosity value using a simple formula.

Two models are available:
KF10 has a fixed angle of 80° and complies with DIN 53015
KF20 can be angled at 50°, 60°, 70° and 80°.
