The SORTEX Z+ is the world leading optical sorter in its area of application. It determines the purity of input product with exceptional accuracy within a split second. On the basis of colour, shape or other optical properties, defective items and foreign material are identified and separated from the product stream. Its main fields of application are rice, grains, beans and pulses, tea and coffee, seeds and spices, nuts, dehydrated vegetables and recycled plastics.
Innovative, precise and efficient: The SORTEX K optical sorting machine determines the purity of input product with exceptional accuracy within a split second. On the basis of colour, shape or other optical properties, defective items and foreign material are identified and separated from the product stream. The SORTEX K uses leading edge technology to deliver effective solutions for processors in the freezing and canning industries. It is able to inspect product in a blanched, unblanched or frozen state so that processors can position the sorter at any point in their line. Its main fields of application are fresh and frozen vegetables, fruits and berries.
Innovative, precise and efficient: The SORTEX E optical sorting machine is an exciting new development for the packing line. By combining enhanced InGaAs technology, bichromatic cameras and shape recognition it is uniquely capable of ensuring the safety of your product. Enhanced InGaAs cameras have been designed for stable operation in a packing room. The high detection efficiency of this new technology provides clean and safe product with the maximum yield. The SORTEX E is developed for processing frozen fruit, vegetables and berries.
The SORTEX M is a high standard optical sorting machine manufactured by Buhler in China. It is used to separate input product into two separate output streams on the basis of colour properties. Its main fields of application are rice, wheat, lentils, seeds and spices, dehydrated vegetables and plastics.
PROfile shape recognition gives the sorter the ability to separate objects by their shape as well as by their colour. This is of great benefit in removing contaminants of similar colour to the product, or in removing misshapen product.
InGaAs technology has been used for the detection of foreign material in a wide range of frozen fruit and vegetables including complex mixes such as paella. It has proved successful in detecting foreign material from the packing line such as blue plastic, light wood and cardboard.
