We are specialist CNC Machinists and offer both Turning and Milling. We have recently invested in new state-of-the-art machinery (Dugard Lathe). This is perfect for your low to medium batch turned components. We provide CNC Machined Components for a variety of different industries such as military, defence, medical, optical, electronics, automotive and more. We have large capacity which results in short lead times. Our general tolerance is ±0.1mm but we regularly work to the nearest micron. We are always machining components in a wide variety of materials. Most commonly we machine components from aluminium but we also regularly machine Stainless Steel, Brass, Nylon, PVC and Acetal. Aluminium Gravity Die
At Castech (UK) Ltd we offer Gravity Die Castings. This is done by pouring molten metal into cast-iron moulds. These moulds are permanent and produce a higher casting rate than Sand Castings. All tooling is manufactured using state of the art CNC Machinery and fully inspected before production runs can go ahead. A wide range of major non-ferrous metal alloys are available for your casting requirements such as Aluminium or Zinc alloys. We are ISO 90001:2008 and throughout the order process this quality will be reflected in our communication, thoroughness and quality of finished components. Aluminium Pressure Die
At Castech (UK) Ltd we also specialise in Pressure Die Casting. Using non-ferrous metals and different alloys such as Aluminium and Zinc, we are able to create high quality castings of different sizes and different levels of intricacy. Our castings have short lead times and can be made in medium to high batches. It is well known that Die Casting Tooling is high cost. However, the initial high start up costs can quickly be eradicated because of the low cost unit prices available. All tooling is manufactured using state of the art CNC Machinery and fully inspected before production runs can go ahead. Castings are hand finished by our highly skilled work force and checked for accuracy and consistency using specific gauges and jigs. A final shot-blasting process allows for a variety of different surface finishes including anodising, alochroming and painting. We can provide Certificate of Conformance upon request.
