Chemviron Carbon Ltd
Europe's leading supplier of activated carbons and related services, including spent carbon reactivation and a wide range of mobile carbon filters. Chemviron Carbon is the European operation of Calgon Carbon Corporations (NYSE: CCC) based in Pittsburgh, USA. In Europe, we have production facilities in the UK and Belgium, plus additional sales offices in France, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. All production sites are ISO9001:2008 (quality) and ISO14001:2004 (environmental) accredited. Our carbon reactivation plant in Belgium is the largest in the world, and the only one to have ISO22000:2005 (food safety) accreditation.
Our range of activated carbons includes powder (PAC), granular (GAC) and extruded (pellets) grades, both standard and impregnated, for use in over 600 different liquid and gas phase applications, including water treatment, biogas purification, and industrial respirators.
We offer a broad range of mobile carbon filters (adsorbers), offering a convenient plug-and-play service avoiding the need for on-site carbon handling and, since they are supplied on a service/rental basis, meaning that CAPEX can be avoided. Again, these products are suitable for a wide range of liquid and gas phase purification applications and we have dedicated vessels for drinking water/food grade applications.
We have our own R&D facility, located at our UK production site, and a team of experienced Application Engineers to help advise customers of the most suitable treatment solution for their process.
