    Potable Water Storage Tanks
    Potable water storage tanks are for the safe holding of water for drinking. As such they must be made to meet strict quality regulations. At Drayton Tanks and Accessories we offer potable water tanks manufactured in accordance with BS EN 13280:2001 and WRAS standards. We can supply you with one or two piece tanks in plain or pre-insulated forms.

    These can be provided to hold capacities between 45 and 90,000 litres of potable water. Our sectional water tanks are made up of bolted panels and allow for larger quantities of water to be stored. We offer both internally and externally bolted sectional tanks to hold up to 1,000,000 litres of drinking water.

    Potable Water Tanks
    Drayton Tanks and Accessories can supply potable water tanks to hold drinking water in capacities up to 1,000,000 litres. Our sectional tanks can be built to hold this amount and are available in internally and externally bolted forms. Our standard one and two piece water tanks are manufactured from GRP and can be supplied in sizes to hold between 45 and 90,000 litres.

    The tanks are manufactured in accordance with WRAS quality standards and the BS EN 13280:2001 certification regulating glass fibre reinforced above ground storage systems. The tanks are insulated with HCFC-free foam and have a bacteria resistant surface.

    Rainwater and Storm Water Tanks
    Capturing rain and storm water enables you to store it for the garden, for cleaning purposes, or to process and drink. At Drayton Tanks and Accessories we can provide you with rainwater and storm water tanks, open topped or with bolted lids in order to store the water once collected. Our standard open top tanks are available in sizes to hold 45 litres of water up to 2727 litres, with special sizes up to 90,000 litres.

    The tanks are manufactured from GRP, glass fibre reinforced plastic, in line with BS EN 13280:2001 quality standards. There is a smooth internal gelcoat surface to the tanks which is anti-bacterial. All of our water tanks are WRAS approved.

    Many water authorities are demanding water storage tanks that are connected to mains water has the mains protected from contamination, this is achieved with a Type AB Airgap. 400 * 80mm Screened Spillover weir Screened with grade 316 stainless steel mesh so that the weir complies with water regulations. Cowled to prevent ingress of light into the tank. Suitable to create Cat 5 Backflow Prevention (Type AB Airgap), by fitting the weirs into the walls of the tank or fitting a raised ballvalve with the weirs onto the lid of the tank.     Sectional Water Storage Tanks
    Sectional water storage tanks are ideal when you need to hold a particularly large volume of liquid or where you will be siting the tank in a spot with restricted access. At Drayton Tanks and Accessories we offer sectional tanks manufactured from GRP panels that are easily assembled. They are available plain or pre-insulated, and bolted internally or externally.

    All of the sections of the tank have a sectional lid and inspection hatch attached. The standard size of the panels is 1000mm, with special sizes also available. Our sectional water tanks are manufactured in line with BS EN 13280:2001 and are WRAS approved.

    Drayton Tanks and Accessories specialise in providing high-quality water storage tanks for use in domestic and commercial applications. Our storage tanks are manufactured from GRP, glass fibre reinforced plastics, Food Grade MDPE, and in the case of our oil storage tanks, high grade polyethylene. We can supply you with tanks to store liquids from 45 litres up to 1,000,000 litres.

    Those liquids can be cold water, potable water, hot water up to 120 degrees Celsius, and mild chemicals. All of our tanks are WRAS approved and manufactured in accordance with BS EN 13280:2001. Our oil tanks are also OFTEC approved. Full fixtures, valves, pipes, and accessories are also available from us.

    Swimming Pool Balance Tanks
    Balance tanks are a key part of a swimming pool and keep the water level at an equal level and constant depth. When water gets displaced in the pool it is stored in the balance tank and then replaced when the levels are unequal. Drayton Tanks and Accessories offer one and two piece balance tanks for installation as part of a swimming pool.

    The tanks are manufactured from GRP and meet the quality standards of BS EN 13280:2001. They are available with walls of 25, 50, 75 and 100mm, and have an insulated bolted lid and a smooth internal gelcoat surface. The available capacities range from 45 litres all the way up to 90,000 litres.

  8. Two Piece GRP Storage Tanks

    Two Piece GRP Storage Tanks
    When you need to store large volumes of water or chemicals you can use sectional tanks. More effective, though, are two piece GRP storage tanks. These are faster to manufacture and deliver compared to sectional tanks, and much easier to assemble and install at your location. At Drayton Tanks and Accessories we offer two piece plain, pre-insulated standard, F and E and chemical tanks.

    The tanks come with a horizontal split that allows them to be carried on its side if you will be passing it through doorways. The lid, bottom half and top halves come as separate parts, with fasteners to assemble. The tanks are manufactured from GRP in line with BS EN 13280:2001 and are approved by WRAS.

    Type AB Airgap Tanks - Category 5
    Type AB Airgaps are backflow prevention systems that meet the Category 5 quality standards of the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS). At Drayton Tanks and Accessories we offer water storage tanks fitted with Type AB Airgaps to hold volumes of between 45 litres up to 2727 litres, with the option of bespoke tanks up to 90,000 litres.

    The larger Type AB Airgap tanks are fitted with raised ballvalve housings. The tanks are all fitted with screened spillover weirs, insulated bolted lids, foam lid sealers, and are cowled to prevent the ingress of light to the tank.
