Mean Well has designed the HLG-480H series a new 480-watt IP rated LED Driver and power supply to operate in various kinds of indoor and outdoor environments.
The HLG-480H series has a 90 - 305VAC full range input and provides six models with DC output voltages from 24v to 54v. With fully potted aluminium case and efficiencies up to 96% operating without a fan at temperatures between -40℃ and +90℃, 5G anti-vibration capability and industrial-level immunity against the instantaneous surge of up to 4kV surge immunity level (IEC61000-4-5).
Supplied in two versions the A-Type works with an internal potentiometer allowing the output current to be adjusted from 50% to 100% and the output voltage from 85% to 105%. The B-type is designed with a built-in 3 in 1 dimming function and the dimming options are 0 - 10Vdc, PWM signal or resistance.
Protections include short circuit, over current, over voltage and over temperature and the HLG-480H series comes with Built-in active PFC function and a full 7 year warranty and complies with harmonic current limitation per EN61000-3-2 Class C at 50% load.
The HLG-480H series complies with global certificates per UL/CUL/ENEC/CB/CE approvals including UL8750 and ENEC EN61347-2-13. These high efficiency Mean Well power supplies available from Ecopac Power are also excellent solutions for applications that require power supplies to operate in very harsh environments.
