EnSo International Limited was founded in October 2004 as an environmental solution provider for off-mains drainage schemes. Together, we can look back on over 60 years experience in wastewater treatment. EnSo Ocean Wastewater Treatment Systems are available from single residential dwellings to bespoke solutions for larger commercial applications.

Ocean Professional Range - sewage treatment systems

The Ocean Professional Range uses EnSo International’s process engineering expertise, to provide wastewater treatment solutions for applications up to and including 4000 population equivalent. EnSo selects the most appropriate products to ensure the final effluent quality requirements and incorporates existing site assets, where possible, into the finished scheme. Using this approach EnSo is able to achieve discharge quality limits as low as 5:5:5mg/l (BOD:SS:NH3).

The Ocean Professional Range offers products and systems utilising Submerged Aerated Filter (SAF), Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR), Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) and Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) technology housed within bespoke modular tanks. As each of these processes offer distinct advantages over the other, we will review your individual situation and recommend the best solution, dependent on treated effluent quality, footprint and budget requirements.

Process Descriptions

Submerged Aerated Filter (SAF)

Whether used as an addition to an existing failing treatment plant, a new stand-alone system or for nitrification, the SAF process includes a number of biological treatment stages to ensure a high biological removal rate to guarantee the wastewater is treated to the required standards. This technology offers a very cost effective method of treatment.

Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR)

MBR systems combine clarification, aeration and filtration into a high-rate and cost-effective process that can reduce capital and operating costs. The result is consistent, high quality effluent (5:5:5mg/l) designed within a small footprint that is suitable for particularly sensitive discharges and water reuse applications.

Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR)

The MBBR process is efficient, compact, easy to operate and offers a very good solution as a stand-alone process within a single bespoke tank. It can be used to specifically enhance or upgrade the treatment potential of activated sludge processes.

Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR)

SBR technology is a fully automated process which allows optimisation of the energy used for biological reduction through control of the aeration rate and duration. This eliminates the need for secondary clarifiers and therefore reduces the overall footprint. It is a highly robust process due to the large retention time within each reactor tank; this allows the process to absorb shock loads and to cope very well with seasonal variations. The state of the art instrumentation and control utilised within the process ensures the system operates with minimal sludge generation in comparison to other process available on the market.

Packaged Pumping Stations

Final Effluent Pumping Stations

The Ocean Final Effluent Pump Station Range are designed to be installed downstream of a sewage treatment plant to either pump the liquid the designated discharge point or to a soakaway arrangement. Each unit is installed with pumps and pipework suitable for pumping final effluent, and come complete with float switches, valves, control panel and manhole covers and frames.

The Ocean Range of pumping stations are all manufactured from either polyethylene or glass reinforced plastic and installed with the highest quality pumps and pipework. Each unit is assembled at our manufacturing facility allowing for ease of installation once delivered to site.

 

Settled Sewage Pumping Stations

The Ocean Settled Sewage Pump Station Range are designed to be installed post an existing septic tank to either lift the liquid to a more manageable level or to pump the settled sewage to a soakaway arrangement. Each unit is installed with pumps and pipework suitable for pumping settled sewage, and come complete with float switches, valves, control panel and manhole covers and frames.

The Ocean Range of pumping stations are all manufactured from either polyethylene or glass reinforced plastic and installed with the highest quality pumps and pipework. Each unit is assembled at our manufacturing facility allowing for ease of installation once delivered to site.

 

Raw Sewage Pumping Stations

The Ocean Raw Sewage Pump Station Range is available to serve single households up to large commercial developments. Our systems are available as single duty or duty standby and come complete with guiderails, float switches, valves and a control panel with an audible alarm. To satisfy the Building Regulation specifications, each unit has 24 hour storage volume.
