Foodmaker was first established in 1983, trading under the original founders McAuley Edwards Limited. Foodmaker is dedicated to delivering value to customers through quality products, innovation, responsiveness and excellent customer service.
We deliver a wide range of dry food ingredients to clients throughout the food sector – from large scale food processors to regional food producers and high street butchers and bakers. We provide the highest levels of product performance, consistency and quality assurance, supplying ingredients into the meat, fish, vegetarian, bakery, dessert and catering sectors.
Our product range continues to grow and includes; seasonings, glazes, bouillons, soups, stuffings, sauces and functional blended products to enhance the taste and texture of your food products.
We take our legal and ethical responsibilities in food safety and quality very seriously and Foodmaker is accredited to the British Retail Consortium (BRC). The principles of our Food Safety and Quality System comply with the requirements of the BRC and it is independently verified for conformance. Foodmaker is also a member of the Seasoning and Spice Association (affiliated to the Food and Drink Federation) and Leatherhead Food Research.
Foodmaker’s staff are committed to professional development and their training and experience enables them to make ingredients work in new and creative ways, selecting from a wide range of raw materials.
Our production plant is fully HACCP compliant. All raw materials and packing are purchased according to strict specifications and are routinely checked before they are accepted. We are located in Corby, Northamptonshire and are proud of our reputation for a reliable delivery service.

We develop innovative new products to meet your exact requirements. Whether you’re looking for a new ready-meal recipe, an authentic regional flavour or a functional blend, our product development team uses its specialist knowledge to bring you food products with top quality ingredients and flavours. We guarantee quality, performance and consistency of product across large volumes and we understand the need to work fast. We run pre-production trials at our in-house pilot plant facility, striving to deliver samples to you within 48 hours.
Our wide range of glazes includes Chinese, Moroccan, Mexican, Italian and Thai glazes – all bursting with flavour and specially developed for a variety of tempting meat and fish dishes.
Pie and Pasty Seasonings
These include our traditional Cornish pasty seasoning with cracked black pepper, as well as complete herb and seasoning mixes for different types of sausage rolls.
Meatball and Burger Seasonings
From Moroccan-style meatballs to premium beef burger seasoning, our products give distinct and delicious flavours.
Traditional and new seasonings complement a wide range of recipes for pork, lamb or beef sausages.

We produce well-balanced stocks of beef, chicken or vegetables. Beef bouillon and chicken bouillon are available without salt.
Our range of sauces includes Béchamel, Bolognese, cheese and curry sauces. They’re simple to make and full of flavour.
Foodmaker soups are rich and creamy, easy to blend and many include visual herbs or vegetable pieces.
Vegetarian Meal Mixes
Our complete mixes for vegetarian sausages and burgers provide a great meat alternative, delivering a meaty flavour.
These include our instant custard powders, that create a rich and creamy custard to accompany any dessert.
