We’re solutions people. This means we’ll listen to where you are now, and where you want to be, and come up with a commercially astute proposition that aligns to your business needs. So even though we could bombard you with some pretty impressive facts and figure like we’re one of the top 10 industrial labour providers in the UK
and we cover more than 2 million shifts for over 1500 companies a year and our 200 specialist recruiters and brand managers, working across our 26 branches nationwide, generate a turnover exceeding £100million a year ultimately, they don’t really mean a great deal.
What really counts is our first conversation with you!
We understand how managing a temporary workforce can easily eat into your valuable time...
That’s why we put in the extra time and effort needed before anyone arrives on-site to profile, brief and train each and every worker. We’ll find you the right people, with the right skill-set. And we’ll make sure you always know you’ll be able to get them in the right place at the right time. It’s all about giving you a flexible pool of talent you can trust.
Less churn – more earn.
Our job starts way before you meet any candidates – and finishes long after they’ve signed on the dotted line.
There’s no real secret to the way we recruit.
It’s all about saving you time, saving you money and taking the hassle out the whole process. It means we have to be right on top of everything, every step of the way; from making sure we only get applications from the right people in the first place, through to making sure probation periods are breezed-through.
No time-wasting. No unnecessary admin. Everyone happy.
We can quote some pretty impressive figures to back up our experience in this sector. All the training and briefing we insist on gets people working better, quicker – 37% quicker in fact.
And we have case study after case study showing our working practices deliver an average increase in productivity of 19%. But really it’s our understanding of how to get the right people in the right places of your business that will provide the strongest commercial results. After all, from your perspective, all this work was carried out in the past… for other companies…
…so your most pressing question is, ‘what can you do for me?’
We promise to devote as much time and resource as is needed to really get to grips with nuances of your operation.
We won’t fob you off with a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution. We will get a deep understanding of what type of workers you need, why and when. This will also help us be more efficient; making sure every worker we supply – from manual to multi-skilled – is ready to hit the ground running… and capable of making more of a contribution, more quickly. And don’t worry, we work across all industries – heavy and light. So we understand the problems associated with shift work,
anti-social hours and complex operational timetables. It goes with the territory – and we’ll always find the neatest, most practical solution.
The key to recruiting successfully in this sector is setting standards, and meeting them meticulously. Even during peak periods.
That’s why we pioneered a two-stage induction process which makes sure all temporary workers are fully briefed in key areas such as hygiene and Health and Safety. We also run fully accredited Food Safety Training courses which fulfil the most rigorous auditing standards. And, why we keep fully compliant with the standards set by the British Retail consortium. If gap personnel follow the rulebook, it’s more likely our workers will follow it too. And they do; which goes a long way to explaining why our workers have a ‘rebooking’ rate of 99.8%.
We make the hard work easy, and the simple things second-nature. And we do this by making sure all our workers understand the sector and really get to grips with its unique challenges. Health and Safety issues are drilled-in from day one. So they are always front-of-mind.
We also use our own ‘traffic light’ performance management system to carefully and constantly monitor performance across everything from basic efficiency to attitude, behaviour and attendance. In fact, we go the extra mile to make sure that all our clients – whether public or private sector – are receiving both added value as well as the expected value for money.
