The IPS Infrared Beam Barriers have been designed to be installed in external applications under the most demanding climatic conditions. The extruded aluminium columns offer maximum mechanical strength and the sealing process makes them totally waterproof. The receiver unit analyses the infrared signal and when it falls to a specific level, caused by a person blocking the beam, an alarm will indicate.

Manta is a bi-static microwave barrier system designed for external use in high security residential and commercial sites.The probability of false alarms is drastically reduced compared to standard analogue devices thanks to the Digital Signal Processing that uses special ?Fuzzy Logic Rules? while keeping the probability of detection at a maximum. Available in 50m or 80m versions, the small size of the device itself and the attractive design means Manta is the ideal product for the protection of residential and commercial sites where space is often restricted and the aesthetic impact is of significant importance.

MILES is a high security fibre optic detection system. MILES is based on a single mode fibre optic cable that is made sensitive to various disturbances created during an attack on a particular structure. It is suitable for deployment in the protection of gas, water and oil pipelines but can also be used to protect very long perimeter fences and to detect the theft of copper cables from underground cable duct systems. Using sophisticated signal processing MILES is able to accurately determine the crossing point of the intruder.

The MMD system is a mobile, rapid deployment bi-static microwave detector for temporary external applications. It is based on the ERMO482 Digital barrier using a transmitter and a receiver which, when placed facing each other, create a protection zone between the two units. This zone can be up to 200m long.The detection heads are mounted on fast action tripods specially designed to give an extremely stable mounting even on uneven or soft ground. Each head is connected to a local battery box, via military grade connectors, containing a heavy duty battery that will provide all the power requirements for the head for more than 100hrs without recharge.

Murena is an external Doppler microwave sensor that utilises digital signal processing. Available in 12m or 24m range versions the Murena includes a minimum range function to eliminate signals created by small objects close to the detector and a maximum range function to de-limit the detector protection area. Set, for example, to 8m, the signal created by a human body at 10m will not be considered for analysis in the generation of alarms.

PPS Plus is a high security buried perimeter intrusion detection system that allows the crossing point of the intruder to be determined to within +/- 5 metres. PPS Plus uses underground sensing tubes which are completely invisible once installed. Filled with liquid and then pressurised, the tubes will detect the differential change in pressure between them, caused by an intruders approach. The system works under virtually under surface and can follow the contours of the perimeter

RFC Plus is a high security buried perimeter intrusion detection system. RFC Plus uses either a single or double buried cable that creates a Radio Frequency field above the surface that forms a sensitive detection area. The systems works under the majority of surfaces and is completely invisible once installed
