When you purchase a battery from us we provide you with all intercell connectors to allow the battery to be assembled. The choice of connectors is made according to the configuration you have chosen. The connector cover components (such as insulated cable connectors and end lug covers) are designed to ensure a high level of protection against electric shocks (IP2x level).

Standard Ni-Cd Block Battery ranges use the well established pocket plate technology and consists of three performance ranges: high rate, medium rate and general purpose.

The SBH block battery range is designed for applications demanding a relatively high current over short periods, usually less than 30 min duration. They are typically used in starting and power backup applications.

The SBLE block battery range is designed for applications typically power backup and bulk energy storage all requiring a reliable source of energy over relatively long discharge periods

The SBM block battery range is designed to sustain electrical loads for between 30 minutes to 3 hours or for "mixed" loads involving a mixture of high and low discharge rates, typically used in power backup applications.
