Interform Manufacturing specialises in making plastic products using thermo vacuum forming techniques. This involves shaping flat plastic into a three dimensional shape, by heating the sheet until it becomes flexible and then withdrawing air from between the heated sheet and a mould. This automated process is well suited to medium volume production runs of between about 100 and 100,000 units. We can also do smaller or larger runs and single bespoke items.

Thermoplastic vacuum forming is a versatile technique, which means that we can use a wide variety of materials, colours and finishes. All our textured finishes are rolled onto the sheet prior to thermo vacuum forming and we can also offer screen and digital printing.

Polycarbonate is available as either standard grade or recycled. It is a strong, high impact plastic with the ability to be fire retardant. This assembly process is ideally suited smaller runs of between 10 and 1,000 units. It generally involves cutting, routing, drilling and assembly, so the tooling requirements are minimal. Our range of machines allows us to form virtually any material thickness and size. And our in-house CNC trimming ensures the highest quality finish.
