Dennis started his own business at twenty-one years old in 1964 driving a BMC Morris, shifting muck and delivering sand and stones.  He then started continental fridge work in 1973 driving himself, with a number of vehicle changes, ranging from Volvo's and Scania, his last unit for doing continental was a 141 left-hand drive Scania.  After doing this for fifteen years he gave up in 1988 and started again with an FL7 Volvo delivering sand and stones.

He went back still driving himself.  In 1990 he purchased another lorry and started to employ people.  He has now a family run business with his son and daughter.  Three Artics and 2 eight-wheelers, which range from Scania and DAF and is an aggregate supplier, north and south of Ireland, with some English work.
