Pinstructure oversees the manufacture and distribution of fastener components by working with trusted global manufacturers. An SME family-run business based in Redditch, Worcestershire started in the 1980s.
Our production capacity includes high volume bespoke production as well as smaller volume. With a varied customer base comprising of individual start-ups to some of the larger multinational firms across a range of industries including Formula 1 motor racing, wind farms, agriculture, nuclear power, rail and the marine sector.

In 2010 we formed a new division called Abbey Clamps strategically set up to focus and develop on Hose Clips and Clamps, which had long been a part of our range and had seen consistent growth.

Engineers Collars
Metric and Inch size Collars are available in three basic formats, Solid to DIN705, Single Split (one piece) and Double Split (two piece). Metric standard size range from 6mm bore up to 100mm bore manufactured from Mild Steel and supplied with a Socket Screw for ease of application. Euro Pattern Retaining Pins
The flat backed Euro Pattern Retaining Pin is manufactured from high quality spring wire and zinc plated. Sizes start with 1.2mm wire up to 8mm. A very quick inexpensive fastener designed to stop parts of the assembly sliding off the end of a shaft primarily but many other uses have had these pins put to good use. Extractable Dowel Pin DIN7979
DIN7979D Hardened & Ground Extractable Dowels are produced from Through Hardening Alloy 1.3505 (100Cr6) hardened to HRC58-64 with an Air Release Flat as standard. Extractable Dowel Pins, Inch
Hardened & Ground Extractable Dowels produced in line with BS1804 are offered in both Inch and Metric sizes to a precise interference fit. Inch sizes are offered across the range with a diameter tolerance of +0.0001” to +0.0003”. We do not automatically apply a provision for Air Release Flats on Inch sizes, this needs to be requested at the point of enquiry. Extractable Dowel Pins, Metric
Hardened & Ground Extractable Dowels are produced to BS1804 Part 3 Type B with an Air Release Flat as standard. Our Metric size range is from 3mm up to 25mm diameter and are produced to an interference fit ‘m6’ tolerance band. Our preferred material for Metric Extractable Dowels has more recently moved towards a Through Hardened Alloy 1.3505 (100Cr6) hardened to HRC58-64 rather than Case Hardened Mild Steel simply due to customer demand.Request a Quote Supplied by Pinstructure Ltd -
