In August 1995, Quality Freight Services Ltd was founded. Starting from a modest first-floor serviced office equipped with only a second-hand desk, chair, typewriter, and phone book, our journey began.

1999 marked a pivotal moment as we welcomed our first colleagues to join the team, allowing us to expand our capabilities and services.

From 2002 to 2010, our team grew with the addition of key members such as Steve Harris and Duncan Winn. As our operations expanded, we relocated to Shipley in 2004, embracing new technology with our first computer server. The team continued to expand with Jo Broomfield, Keri MacInnes, and Jonathan Wilson joining in subsequent years. Our commitment to growth led to the establishment of offices in Newcastle in 2007 and Cannock in 2010.

The expansion journey continued with the opening of offices in Manchester in 2014 and Sheffield in 2016. In 2017, we established our presence in the East Midlands, followed by the opening of our Heathrow office in 2018. The Leeds office was inaugurated in early 2019, with Hull joining our network in 2020.

In January 2021, in response to the changes brought about by Brexit, we launched our in-house customs department, QFS Customs, headquartered in Manchester.

November 2021 marked another milestone as Quality Freight Services Ltd ventured into haulage operations. With the granting of the Operator Licence, or 'O-Licence', by the Traffic Commissioner in September 2021, our HGVs began operating across the UK, further enhancing our service offerings and capabilities.
