  3. Cathodic Protection to Offshore Structures

    Cathodic Protection to Offshore Structures
Offshore structures such as wind turbines, fixed platforms, floating production spaces, spars, rigs and submarine piping are hugely costly to install. Ensuring they function at optimum efficiency and performance and for as long as possible without needing to be repaired or changed is vitally important. Cathodic protection is an effective method to prevent corrosion on offshore structures.

At R and R Corrosion we can provide cathodic protection and possess considerable experience and expertise in supplying corrosion prevention solutions to companies engaged in offshore oil and gas production. We are based in Aberdeen and have worked globally for customers including Shell Exploration and Production and the Shetland Island Council.

For more details relating to Cathodic Protection to Offshore Structures please feel free to contact us.
  4. Cathodic Protection to Pipelines and Buried Structures

Cathodic Protection to Pipelines and Buried Structures
Cathodic protection operates through the connection of a sacrificial metal, or anode, to the main metallic surface which is to be protected. Rather than the protected metal corroding and becoming worn and damaged, the sacrificial anode corrodes instead. Such a method has commonly been used for protecting pipelines and structures to be buried underground.

Based in Aberdeen, our consultants at R and R Corrosion are specialists in providing corrosion protection and prevention solutions with 35 years of experience. We can provide cathodic protection for pipelines and buried structures and possess considerable experience working with oil, gas, petrochemical, and water companies.

For more information on our Cathodic Protection to Pipelines and Buried Structures please get in touch with us.
  5. Cathodic Protection to Steel Reinforced Concrete

Cathodic Protection to Steel Reinforced Concrete
Steel reinforced concrete is an important material for the construction industry where it is valued for its toughness and capacity to be made into various shapes and forms. When used for civil engineering structures such as roads, bridges, and car parks it is vitally important to prevent corrosion and wear that could undermine the integrity of the structure and put it at risk.

Here at R and R Corrosion we offer specialist assistance in the prevention of corrosion and can design, supply and install cathodic protection for steel reinforced concrete structures. As a company we operate with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and have previously worked for customers in the UK and globally, including with various public bodies.

For more details of Cathodic Protection to Steel Reinforced Concrete please feel free to contact us.
  6. Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS)

    Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS)
At R and R Corrosion we offer a range of surveys for monitoring pipelines and installations used in the oil, gas, and water industries. Surveys enable the checking of corrosion protection coatings to discover problem areas that must be repaired. Our staff possess experience working for companies in the UK and internationally.

The Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS) is a method of checking on the cathodic protection on a metallic item such as oil, gas, or water pipelines, offshore installations, and marine engineering structures. The CIPS will enable us to locate any points of weakness within the corrosion protection and then move towards rectifying the fault.

For more information on our Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS) service please get in touch with us.
  7. Close Interval Potential Surveys

    Close Interval Potential Surveys
Close Interval Potential Surveys (CIPS) are an effective method of assessing the level of cathodic protection across a metallic structure such as a pipeline or offshore installation. The Surveys are a part of a quality checking and monitoring process and enable the development of a profile of the structure that will show up and pinpoint areas where corrosion protection is lacking or must be heightened.

Here at R and R Corrosion we have the skill, expertise and experience to provide Close Interval Potential Surveys to customers in the oil, gas, water and construction industries. We are based in Aberdeen and have experience working for clients worldwide, providing surveys and cathodic protection.

For more details of our Close Interval Potential Surveys please contact us.
  8. Corrosion Control

    Corrosion Control
Taking steps to limit corrosion levels on pipelines and engineering installations is vitally important for companies in the oil and gas, water and construction industries. Here at R and R Corrosion we are members of the Institute of Corrosion and possess considerable experience in providing corrosion control solutions to customers in the UK and worldwide.

We offer extensive surveying and protection services including the design, manufacture, procurement and installation of corrosion control systems. We operate in line with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and can install cathodic protection for pipelines and marine structure, paint systems, and film coatings to prevent corrosion, amongst many other solutions.

For more details of the Corrosion Control services we can provide please feel free to contact us.
  9. Corrosion Equipment

    Corrosion Equipment
At R and R Corrosion we have been supplying high-quality corrosion equipment to customers in the oil, gas, water and construction sectors for decades. All of our equipment that we supply benefits from the expertise and experience of our staff and consultants. Based in Aberdeen, we have provided our equipment to customers in the UK and abroad.

As a company we operate in line with the quality standards of ISO 9001:2008 - amongst the pieces of corrosion equipment we can provide are thick and thin film coatings, cathodic protection for pipelines, marine engineering structures, and offshore installations, and paint systems to prevent wear and corrosion.

For more details of any of the Corrosion Equipment that we can supply please feel free to contact us.
  10. DC Voltage Gradient (DCVG) Survey

    DC Voltage Gradient (DCVG) Survey
DC Voltage Gradient (DCVG) Surveys are a method of checking for defects within coatings and levels of cathode protection on pipelines and other engineering installations and structures. The Survey method involves sending a DC current along the pipeline before checking the voltage gradient with two earth contact probes and a voltmeter.

The Survey is especially effective as it diagnoses not only the defect but the level of severity and the strength of the cathodic protection. At R and R Corrosion we can provide DC Voltage Gradient Surveys and possess considerable expertise and experience working with clients worldwide in the oil and gas and water industries.

For more information on DC Voltage Gradient (DCVG) Surveys please contact us.
