  2. Factory Applied and Field Wrap Systems for Pipelines

Factory Applied and Field Wrap Systems for Pipelines
Protective wrap systems can be applied to pipelines for use in the oil and gas and water industries to protect against corrosion, damage and wear and to improve the working lifespan of the pipeline itself. At R and R Corrosion our consultants can provide a design and, manufacture and supply service for thin and thick film wrapping systems for pipelines.

The wrap systems can be bespoke made for individual client requirements and applied within the factory at a production stage prior to on-site installation, or applied within the field once the structure has been set up ready for operation.

For more information on our Factory Applied and Field Wrap Systems for Pipelines please contact us.
  3. Inshore Trailing Wire Surveys

    Inshore Trailing Wire Surveys
R and R Corrosion specialise in providing corrosion protection systems and pipeline management services. Inshore Trailing Wire Surveys are a management method that checks and establishes a profile that details the potential level through a metallic piece of equipment such as a pipeline used in the oil and gas industry. The profile will include an assessment of cathodic protection and identify areas of interaction.

The Survey is carried out using a weighted silver chloride half-cell with a trailing wire spooling system - the trailing wire connects to the pipeline using an on land test post facility. Once the survey has been carried out our staff at R and R can advise and suggest protection solutions if there are found to be problems within the surveyed pipelines.

For more information on Inshore Trailing Wire Surveys please feel free to contact us.
  4. Paint Systems

    Paint Systems
Painting is one of the oldest and most trusted methods of preventing the development of corrosion on structural items. Modern paint systems are highly effective at resisting wear and corrosion when applied to a metallic surface. The paint is applied in a layered system for optimum protection and durability.

Here at R and R Corrosion we can provide advice on paint systems and consultancy about choosing the correct protective system for your particular application as well as supplying the system for preventing corrosion. We have worked for customers in the oil and gas, water, and construction industries within the UK and internationally.

For more information on modern Paint Systems and how we can help your company please feel free to contact us.
  5. Pearson Coating Survey

    Pearson Coating Survey
Pearson Coating Surveys are a method of assessing corrosion protection on pipelines and structures employed in the oil, gas, and water industries, both offshore, on land and underground. The Pearson Coating Survey checks for defects in protective coatings using an AC signal injected onto the pipeline before making a comparison of the potential gradient between two earth contacts.

When a defect is detected the voltage will be found to increase. At R and R Corrosion we can carry out the Pearson Survey for customers and design and plan measures to provide further cathodic or coating protection. We have experience working for clients worldwide and operate in line with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system.

For more details of our Pearson Coating Surveys please feel free to contact us.
  6. Pulsar GPS Current Interrupter

    Pulsar GPS Current Interrupter
The Pulsar GPS Current Interrupter is an AC power driven current interrupter for use when carrying out CIPS, DCVG, and Test Post Polarised surveys on oil, gas, and water pipelines. The Current Interrupter utilises GPS electronics and operating software, microcontrollers, and solid state switching. At R and R Corrosion we can provide the Interrupter in two different forms - a handheld version or mount unit.

The Current Interrupter is designed to be easy-to-operate with a large LCD screen with four-button interface with a battery life lasts for 14 days. The interrupter operates on 50 satellite channels and comes with a purpose-built protective case.

For more information on the Pulsar GPS Current Interrupter please feel free to contact us.
  7. Routine Monitoring

    Routine Monitoring
Routine monitoring of pipelines and structures is vitally important to maintaining levels of protection against corrosion and damage. Here at R and R Corrosion we are highly experienced in designing, installing, and providing monitoring of protective coatings, and cathodic protection on pipelines, offshore installations, and marine engineering structures.

We operate fully in line with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and as a company are Achilles Verified and First Point Assessment Registered - the key management system for the oil and gas industry. We can carry out surveys, repair works, and remedial work to maintain the integrity and efficiency of a pipeline system.

For more information on our Routine Monitoring services please contact us.
  8. Signal Attenuation Coating (SAC) Survey

    Signal Attenuation Coating (SAC) Survey
At R and R Corrosion we can carry out and provide the equipment for Signal Attenuation Coating (SAC) Surveys for customers in the oil and gas, water, and construction industries. The Survey will identify and locate any problems within corrosion protection systems such as cathodic protection and film coatings. At R and R we can also provide advice on repairing any protection systems.

Signal Attenuation Coating Surveys involve an AC signal being applied to the pipeline or structure in question. The signal will decrease owing to the resistance of the protective coating as it leaks to earth. At points at which there is a defect in the coating or protection there will be greater signal loss - enabling us to both find the fault and determine the level of coating weakness.

For more details of our Signal Attenuation Coating (SAC) Surveys please feel free to contact us.
  9. Thick Film Coating Systems

    Thick Film Coating Systems
Thick film coating systems form a simple protective layer on a metallic surface to prevent against wear, damage, oxidation, corrosion and degradation. Employing thick film coating systems extends the working life and optimises the efficiency of marine structures, and oil, gas, and water pipelines by limiting and resisting corrosion damage.

At R and R Corrosion our consultants are expert in corrosion protection and prevention systems and can design, manufacture, and supply a coating system requisite for your particular requirements and application. We have over 35 years of experience helping to protect onshore and offshore installations in the UK and abroad.

For more information on our Thick Film Coating Systems please feel free to contact us.
  10. Thin Film Coating Systems
