The 593 Air Receiver Check Valve:

Connection options

The air receiver check valves are available with either male to male or female to male connections, the options can be viewed in the data sheet.
The male to male option is also available with a 1/8"BSPT vent if required.

In-line Check Valve

Design

The 595 In-line check valves are designed to be fitted in air/gas pipe lines and allow only uni-directional flow. The valves are fitted with an elastomer seal for additional sealing tightness.

Minimum Pressure Valve

Minimum pressure check valves

Minimum pressure valves

Minimum Pressure Check Valves are control valves typically suitable for application on compressors.

Design
Minimum pressure check valves are spring loaded pressure control valves with an inbuilt check (non-return) valve.
They are usually fitted to the AIR/OIL separator tank.

Valve Opening
The valve opens when the increasing inlet pressure exceeds the adjusted opening pressure. Further increasing the pressure causes the piston to progressively open until the output of the compressor flows through the valve at the flowing pressure required. The valve size is selected to suit the flow required at the specified flowing pressure and pressure drop.

Valve Closing
If the demand for air is such that the pressure at the valve inlet decreases to the specified minimum pressure, the valve will close to a position such that the flow through the valve will be equal to the flow produced by the
compressor. If there is a back pressure down stream of the valve which is greater than the inlet pressure, the check valve will close.

Air start valve

The Seetru Air Start Valve (GS56)

Air-start valve

The Seetru GS56 is a high quality control valve designed to handle a two-stage operation for air starting of engines. Air starting is typically used for diesel engines. The GS56 is bolted onto the air receiver vessel and integrates all the necessary functions and connections into one highly effective unit. It controls charging of the pressure vessel with the air for starting and it controls the flow of the air to the engine to start the engine. Incoming air and outgoing air are kept separate to comply with regulations. The unit configuration is designed so that any oil or water in the air supply collects in the receiver, thus maximising the cleanliness of the air which flows to the engine

Change Over Valve

Change Over Valve

Auxiliary Valves

The Seetru Change Over valve
This valve is used if a plant shutdown is impossible or undesirable for process engineering or commercial reasons. With change-over valves it is possible to switch over between parallel safety valves without interrupting operation, so that maintenance work can be carried out on each safety valve in turn.
This valve is available with a wide range of elastomers as standard, other seals are available on request. Flanged inlet connections are also available on request.
Typically used in the refrigeration industry, however they are used elsewhere and are suitable for wide industrial application.

Liquid Level Gauges

Seetru also manufacture Liquid Level Gauges, primarily of two types sight gauges and magnetic float by-pass gauges. Many of the gauges are direct reading though most have optional electronic remote reading systems and computer interfaces. The range includes the Quickmount, Seemag and CPI gauges for industrial and chemical applications. Our Seeflex and Seemag gauges have been designed for marine applications and meet the requirements of SOLAS (Safety Of Lives At Sea) and are type approved by many worldwide shipping authorities. These gauges have also been approved for use with flammable liquids.

Seetru Liquid Level Gauges carry many recognised approvals including;

ABS / DNV / Llloyds Register / RINA / RMRS / RRR / BV / NKK / EAC Customs Union DECLARATION

Valve Testing

Seetru Compu-test™

Seetru's Compu-Test™ system provides a highly accurate digital recording of a valves leak, set and re-seat points. Using pressure transducers to measure these different points and displaying them on a computer screen the Compu-Test™ removes the risk of human error which can occur with manual readouts. The Compu-Test™ system also makes calculations to see whether the test results meet industry safety standards and regulations.

Benefits of Compu-test™

Fully computerized
Automated and objective
Set pressure measurement
Electronic bubble count leak rate test
Condition Rating® measurement
Detailed analysis of valve operation
Computerized full test records for certificate
Test results printout for certificate
Patented worldwide

Control Valve Maintenance

Isolation & Control Valve Maintenance

During their time in service, Isolation & Control valves are subject to general wear and corrosion. Because of this it is necessary to have regular inspections to ensure the valve is operating effectively. Through cleaning, machining and replacing parts we can restore your Isolation & Control valves work as intended.

Gland packing and seals are most likely to need replacing on regular intervals.

The frequency of these inspections is dependent on the severity of service conditions the valve runs on. Depending on the location that these valves are situated you may be interested in our Resurfacing and Paintingservices, valves that are situated outside are particularly susceptible to rust corrosion.
