S and AS switching spiral bevel gearboxes
13 October 2016The AS version is a precision spiral bevel gearbox where the output shaft can be disengaged from the input shaft. The S version adds the capability to reverse the direction of the output shaft relative to the input shaft. Low backlash, universal mounting and machined flanges are just some of the benefits when using Tandler gearboxes. Optional bearings are available, for example ball bearings for quiet operation or tapered bearings for higher radial load capacity. Special designs on standard models allows maximum design versatility. Atex, stainless steel and other special coatings available on request.
